February 2015 Wantable Makeup Subscription Review

Wantable, who kindly sent me this box to review, offers three different types of subscription boxes. This box is their makeup box, which includes 4 to 5 full-sized premium makeup products, hand-picked to perfectly match your preferences. They also offer intimates, fitness and accessories boxes, again customized to your preferences.  And unlike the majority of other subscription boxes, Wantable allows you to return the box if you aren’t totally 100% happy. You just go into your account, go to your order history and click “Return Items” and you’ll get a prepaid label and a full refund.

The Box

Wantable ships via DHL Global Mail and took just under a week to arrive.  They are only a state over from me, but that’s how DHL seems to work.  Wantable ships at the same time each month as when you originally subscribed.  So if you subscribed at the end of the month, your box will ship at the end of the month.

First Look

I didn’t recognize much of the first look and the box seemed quite full, so I was very happy about that.

Preferences

Like I mentioned before, you can totally customize your Wantable box.  You fill out a questionnaire telling them what you Love, Like and Dislike.  You’ll get more of the things you Love, some of the things you Like and none of the things you Dislike.  It also asks about color preferences and that sort of thing.  The only Dislike I have is eyeliner and it’s been working out well for me.

The Information Card

My February 2015 Wantable Makeup box included the following items:

~Bodyography Makeup Remover Wipes ($12): These remove both regular makeup and waterproof makeup.  This is a new brand to me, but I am always happy with face wipes.  They are so great for traveling and I’ll use them not just for removing makeup, but also when you just want to freshen up.

~Billion Dollar Brow Highlighter Pencil ($18): This is a brow highlighter / concealer in one!  At first I thought maybe it was two different highlighter shades, but this is way better!  I love the concealer end and will be throwing this in my bag.

~Three Custom Color-Creme to Powder Blush (Rose) ($22.50): I think this is a great color and I am a fan of this brand, but I will likely end up passing this on to a friend.  I am pretty set on blush right now so I should probably change my preferences for this.

~Marie Natie Loose Mineral Eye Shadow (Jade) ($15): A little of this shadow goes a long way!  I wouldn’t just wear this color along, but a little bit on top of another color would make for some nice shimmer.

All totaled I came up with a value of $67.50 for the February 2015 Wantable Makeup box. Not my favorite Wantable box, but I really liked the wipes and would love to see them brand out into some skincare things.  You could opt out if you wanted strictly makeup or opt in if you wanted a mixture!

Do you subscribe to Wantable?  If so, what’d you get in your box (makeup or accessories or intimates) this month? And if you don’t subscribe, what are you waiting for? There is no risk involved so why not?
