Hammock Pack February 2015 Subscription Box Review
Hammock Pack February 2015

Today was such a fantastic subscription box day. One of the many boxes I received was my February 2015 Hammock Pack!

If you aren’t familiar with them, Hammock Pack is a monthly surprise pack filled with everything you need to take a much needed getaway without even leaving your home. Boxes are geared towards women and each month you will receive a pack filled with a mix of food, bath products, housewares, and accessories that you’d only find if you visited that month’s destination city.

The Box

Hammock Pack ships via USPS Priority Mail around the 25th of the month.  They send a tracking e-mail a few days before then but the boxes generally don’t start moving until at least the 25th.

The first look wasn’t overly exciting.  I didn’t see anything that really jumped out at me.

The Information Card

The February 2015 Hammock Pack destination was “Chicago” (one of my favorite cities) and included the following items:

~Whimsical Candy – La-Dee-Dahs ($6.49): Okay, these are delicious.  They are fun swirls of caramel and nougat and taste great. Next time we are in Chicago I am going to go to their store and see what other goodies they have!

~Bee’s Knees Food Co. – Chipotle and Lime Peanuts ($4): I am going to pass these along to B.  They will make a good snack for his bar or poker night or something.

~Jo Snow Syrup – Simple Syrup (Tangerine Lavender & Honey) ($8): You can use this syrup on ice-cream, you can add it to your favorite syrup or make a cocktail with it.  I am going to hunt down some good drink recipes and see what B decides on.

~Salted Caramel – Pretzel Graham Toffee ($9): Okay I’m normally not a huge toffee fan, but salted caramel toffee is a different story.  I can’t think of anything salted caramel that I don’t like.  These are so good!

~Steel Petal Press – “You’re the Best” Card ($5): This card is a little reminder to let your loved ones know they are the best!  I am going to send it to L in the mail!  He LOVES getting mail and it’s even more fun now that he can read exactly what letters say.

All totaled I came up with a value of $32.49 for the February 2015 Hammock Pack.  Not my favorite Hammock Pack for sure. While I individually liked all of the items, I felt like all together it was just too food / snack heavy.  I like to see more of a mixture in Hammock Pack!

What do you think of Hammock Pack?  What city / state would you like to see them do next?  Come on Detroit!!!
