~Good morning! How was your weekend? B had National Guard the past few days, so it was just the little boys and I this weekend. We got all of L’s school projects done, played outside, ran errands and did laundry. So.much.laundry. Anyway, it wasn’t overly exciting, but it was highly productive.
~Did you watch the Grammy’s? Some of the winners were surprising, but in a totally good way! Those outfits though? Those were the best part! Kim K. looked like a she was wearing a robe (which she was), Beyonce looked amazing, as did Taylor Swift, Rhianna looked like a Barbie Cake and well, Joy Villa (I have no idea who that is) looked like a snow fence. LOL! Maybe don’t open that last link at work.
~From the sounds of it Birchbox isn’t doing their Book Club anymore, but Lauren Conrad does one on her blog and her pick this month is “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” by Jenny Han. Her picks are all over the place (which I like) and I like having a set book to read so I am going to follow along for the next few months.
~It’ll be another fun subscription box week around here. I am expecting Homegrown Collective, PopSugar Must Have, Spring Yuzen, Sample Society, UrthBox, Your Bijoux Box and there are a few more that I haven’t received tracking for yet (ipsy, Love With Food, etc.), but should be coming this week too.
~I need a new pair of boots. Not dressy boots, but not super snow boots either. I need, like, a pair of UGGS. I couldn’t find any knock-offs at Target (I think it’s a little late in the season to buy boots), but I basically want a pair of warm boots in a fun color that aren’t crazy expensive. Or sweater boots. Any ideas for something similar??

Look into Bear Paws. I think I got mine for $40 on Amazon and they’re more comfortable than the target version.
Bearpaws are exactly what I came to comment for! lol. I have a pair and I have had them for a year and a half.

I usually have on one of three boots: Ariat, Blauer/5.11, or Sorel for winterish boots. I love them all and they are all super comfortable. I am also known to spend 8+ hrs in ski boots so I guess comfort is all relevant. I like traction with my boots and I know none of the Ugg type boots have that.
I am expecting maybe Ipsy, Birchbox, and Bulu box this week, I am also considering getting Dave Asprey or Tim Ferris Box, but I might get the Dave Asprey box after I know what is in it.
I have some tall Bogs for cold / snow weather, but they are too much for everyday.
I just finished that book and I loved it. I couldn’t put it down. I was so excited to find out that she’s coming out with a sequel this year.
Some of my favorite outfits were Taylor Swift’s, Katy Perry’s, & Meghan Trainor’s.
I bought it at Target today and can’t wait to start!
I just ordered/received a pair of DAWGS boots on the nomorerack site; they are very similar to UGGS and are very comfy. There are several styles/colors to choose.

I just got a few pair of causal boots from Beyond the Rack, super cheap. And I also got a pair of sweater boots from Zulilly. 6PM had some cute ones for cheap too. Also, I need to stop buying boots. They’re taking over my house.
I used to have SO many pairs, but they all seem to have worn out at the same time!
Have you read Lauren’s books? They are really good and very easy reads. I feel you on the boots. I have one pair of regular brown Uggs which I love but I’d love another pair and fun color to boot but I haven’t bit the bullet yet. I look at other brands and nothing just looks as good to me. Maybe I need to keep looking at the rack for unicorns 🙂

Now I want to buy boots! I need the same type of boots. I received Yuzen Spring and the Valentine Day Fantasy Box today. I think this week I will be receiving the Eco Emi Haircare box and a one-time SportsCrate. I received Homegrown Collective last week which surprised me because I cancelled it and did not think I would be receiving anymore boxes.
