~Good morning! How was your weekend? B had National Guard the past few days, so it was just the little boys and I this weekend. We got all of L’s school projects done, played outside, ran errands and did laundry. So.much.laundry. Anyway, it wasn’t overly exciting, but it was highly productive.
~Did you watch the Grammy’s? Some of the winners were surprising, but in a totally good way! Those outfits though? Those were the best part! Kim K. looked like a she was wearing a robe (which she was), Beyonce looked amazing, as did Taylor Swift, Rhianna looked like a Barbie Cake and well, Joy Villa (I have no idea who that is) looked like a snow fence. LOL! Maybe don’t open that last link at work.
~From the sounds of it Birchbox isn’t doing their Book Club anymore, but Lauren Conrad does one on her blog and her pick this month is “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” by Jenny Han. Her picks are all over the place (which I like) and I like having a set book to read so I am going to follow along for the next few months.
~It’ll be another fun subscription box week around here. I am expecting Homegrown Collective, PopSugar Must Have, Spring Yuzen, Sample Society, UrthBox, Your Bijoux Box and there are a few more that I haven’t received tracking for yet (ipsy, Love With Food, etc.), but should be coming this week too.
~I need a new pair of boots. Not dressy boots, but not super snow boots either. I need, like, a pair of UGGS. I couldn’t find any knock-offs at Target (I think it’s a little late in the season to buy boots), but I basically want a pair of warm boots in a fun color that aren’t crazy expensive. Or sweater boots. Any ideas for something similar??
