Petit Vour February 2015 Subscription Box Review
Petit Vour February 2015

Petit Vour, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box of cruelty-free beauty products, hand-picked from businesses that align quality with progressive standards.  Boxes are $15/month and they do an excellent job making sure that the value well exceeds the cost.

The Box

Petit Vour ships via USPS and takes only a few days to arrive.  Boxes ship in batches between the 15th and 20th of the month.

First Look

I saw a few familiar brands in this first look and a few I wasn’t familiar with.

The Information Card

The February 2015 Petit Vour theme was “Love is Bold, Love is Kind” and included the following items:

~Balanced Guru Scrub Me Body Scrub ($2.75): This is the next best thing to having a cup of coffee in the shower with you.  LOL.  It smells like you’ve got a cup of coffee in there at least.  I love coffee body scrubs and hope to see more of this in subscriptions down the road ;).

Balanced Guru Scrub Me Body Scrub

~Ellovi Mint Chocolate Body Butter ($2.53): I opened this up and smelled it before I read the label and thought no, this can’t be mint chocolate chip is it?  It can’t be!  Well, it’s not Mint Chocolate Chip, but it is Mint Chocolate and smells delicious.  A little bit of this goes a LONG way so it will last for a while.

~Harvey Prince Damask Rose & Gardenia Perfumes (~$5): I am generally a Harvey Prince fan, but I didn’t expect to like these as much as I do!  The rose is fantastic. A very true rose scent and not too strong at all.  I love it!

Harvey Prince Damask Rose & Gardenia Perfumes

~Lily Lolo Vegan Mascara ($19.98): I was curious about this one so I wanted to test it right away. It wast clumpy at all, but it didn’t lengthen as much as I would have liked.  More of a daytime mascara for me.

All totaled I came up with an (estimated) value of $30.26 for the February 2015 Petit Vour.  The value was just about twice the cost of the box which is kind of “low” for Petit Vour, but the box was filled with a lot of great usable products and brands so I am happy.
