~Happy Sunday!  As usual I am lifting Jen’s Sunday Sentiments and making it mine tonight.

~It’s almost Grammy time!  Yes!  I haven’t had much of a chance to watch the Red Carpet or any of that, so I am going to need to play a little Best Dressed catch-up in a few.  I am looking forward to seeing Beyonce, Katy Perry, Madonna, Adam Levine and Gwen Stefani and well, basically everyone perform.  It’s going to be a great show.

Can't wait!
Can’t wait!

~I switched the comments here back to the way they were so if you weren’t able to comment before, you should be able to now!  And if you can’t, let me know on Facebook or  E-mail Me because you obviously won’t be able to comment here and tell me you can’t comment.  LOL! I am still trying to figure out to to get a “Leave a Comment” button at the bottom of the posts, but no luck on that one yet.  The comment bubble at the top will take you directly to leave a comment, but I want it at the bottom.  I mean, how do you even know if you want to leave a comment when you are at the top of the post?  You don’t!

~Can we talk about Valentine’s Day card boxes?  When did they become such a thing?  L’s homework was to make / decorate a card box for their party this week. I Every inch of the box was to be covered and you were supposed to get as creative as you wanted. Uhh, we bought a kit.  I suggested we do craft paper and heart stickers, etc., but he looked at me like I was crazy.  I should have turned his Minecraft head from Halloween into a card box, but I didn’t think of that in time!  Who knew they even made kits for this?  Not me until today that’s for sure.

~I have SO many new boxes to add to the Subscription Box List, so hopefully I can get a chance to do that tonight during the Grammy’s,  I just subscribed to Frankie & Albert (they send you one of a kind thrift store finds) and am looking for another new box to try.  Any suggestions?  Anything you are curious about?

That’s it for now!  Hope you are having a good night!

We had to make valentine boxes back in the late 80s in elementary school. Ours were just shoe boxes decorated with hearts and junk.

They do! It was $4. How could I NOT get it? They had How to Train Your Dragon 2, Ninja Turtles, a Pirate ship and a few girl ones.

I preferred disqus comments plugin 🙂

You are probably the only one! Half the people couldn’t even get it to load! I liked the format of Disqus better, but if no one could see it, then it was no good!

We received a note home to make a valentine box as well. So happy I was at Hobby Lobby and they have kits. I never knew this existed. Never had to do this with our oldest.

      What kit did you get??

We don’t do valentine boxes at home. At least we haven’t yet. I just read Ns teacher newsletter and she said that a letter is coming home today with valentine info. I mean really I needed that last week since I already bought the stuff to make our valentines. I guess we will wait to do them until tonight or tomorrow. I know they ask for no food so we are doing glue sticks that say Stuck on you. Easy and cute enough I hope. They do do a box in preschool but like you said they just put some stickers on it and call it a day but hey they are all 3/4.

Yeah, I need those letters to come home about a week in advance. At least give me the weekend to figure it out all you know? Nights can just get too crazy.

We always had to make Valentine’s card boxes in elementary school! I can only remember one – my mom made me a love robot in 4th grade. Oh my gosh, it was awesome. It had legs and was covered in aluminum foil. I wish I could find a picture of it.

      That sounds great!!!!

OMG I can read & post comments again!! I thought I was the only one having this problem & feeling so guilty when I’d mark that I’d posted (for a giveaway) & then couldn’t post. Doing the happy dance! 🙂

      Yay!!!

YAY, I’m so glad comments are back! I’ve got to say, I love your posts, but the comments really make it, I think!

    1. Jennifer

Aww, thank you! I am glad it’s back working well for everyone again!
