GLOSSYBOX, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly beauty subscription box.  It costs $21/month and includes five luxury surprise beauty items shipped to your door. GLOSSYBOX does sometimes have some issues with late shipping, but they put typically put together amazing boxes that far exceed the cost so I don’t mind.

The Box

GLOSSYBOX ships via USPS. I received this box super early for review purposes, but I also have a subscription of my own that will probably arrive in the second half of March.

The GLOSSYBOX Box

It’s back to the regular pink GLOSSYBOX box this month.  Last month’s box was so cute and hopefully there will be another special box or collaboration soon!

Second First Look

The first look wasn’t overly exciting.  I wasn’t too sure what everything was, but I also wasn’t wowed by it.

The Information Card

The March 2015 GLOSSYBOX included the following items:

~So Susan Cosmetics Concealer Quad (~$10): I know this isn’t a full-size, but I also can’t figure out the actual size of a full-sized quad, so I had to guess at the price.  I like the variety of colors in this palette, but I thought that it was a little dry.  I’d recommend mixing it with a little lotion on your sponge or figure.

~ModelCo. More Brows Eyebrow Thickening Gel in Medium/Dark ($18): I thought for sure this was a sample size, but nope, this one is full-sized!  It’s a brow thickening gel to help you create that perfect brow look – even if you have sparse or over-plucked brows (this happens to me when I pluck).

~Bellapierre Cosmetics Cheek & Lip Stain in Pink ($19.99): This stain works for both your cheeks and lips.  The color is awesome alone and can be layered with something else if you want to go a little darker.

~Ouidad Color Sense Color Preserving Shampoo & Conditioner ($10/each): This is a totally new brand for me.  The shampoo smells fantastic and is supposed to remove daily mineral deposits and the conditioner will protect against dehydration.

~Orogold Cosmetics 24K Multi-Vitamin Day Moisturizer ($10.47/each): Ohh, fancy!  This cream contains vitamins, antioxidants and pure 24K gold.  No, for real.  According to the information card the 24 karat gold works to reduce the signs of aging by plumping and firming skin.  Interesting.  Don’t mind if I do rub gold all over my face.  LOL!  I couldn’t find a sample size on this, so I had to guess.  I wasn’t sure if I got two samples on accident or if the box was supposed to contain two so I confirmed with GLOSSYBOX and boxes do contain two samples of this!

~Caseable.com Coupon Code: This month’s box also includes a unique coupon code worth anywhere between $5 – $100 for Caseable.com!  The code is valid through 4/30/2015, so you’ll have plenty of time to create a new case for your phone or whatever!

All totaled I came up with an estimated value of $88.93 for the March 2015 GLOSSYBOX (that doesn’t include the caseable.com coupon code).  I can’t say that this was my favorite GLOSSYBOX, but I will use everything in it so that’s always a win!

What do you think of this month’s GLOSSYBOX so far? Do you love it as much as I do? If you are a new subscriber and are interested in ordering you can use the coupon code “OCCSMOTE” to get a free Obsessive Color Cosmetics Loose Color Concentrate in Smote in your first box or “OPRAH” for 20% off a 6 or 12-month subscription.  I believe if you order by the 28th you will receive the February box, but if you order on the 1st or after, your subscription will begin with the March box.

I’m kinda disappointed by this one. I normally love Glossybox, but the only thing I’m really excited about is the shampoo/conditioner and of course rubbing gold all over my face!

  2. Kathy

Canceled too late so my daughter will be stuck with this ‘meh’ box. Not one thing in here to wow her (or me) & any box with shampoo & conditioner samples takes several steps down from the word go. Am seriously looking for a decent box to subscribe to as they all seem to be on a sharp decline. They seem to start out great & then crash & burn (see French Box).

  3. Kristin

I’m pretty sure the SoSusan is a full size – I have one from SoSusan and it’s the same size. I have a more of white and think I like your version better.

I had canceled at the end of February and was planning to resub today using the OPRAH code. However, I don’t want this box at all so I’m going to hold off and resub in April. I normally love Glossybox, but this is a fail for me personally.

I like this one. The concealer pallet is small and will travel well. I use benefit brow gel and its very tiny too, but id love to try model co. So thats a win for me. Im loaded on blush, however i do like blush creams they blend better and look more natural on me. So that works. I like this box, not love. But compared to feb fun box it would seem blah.

  6. Elise

Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like these aren’t really Glossybox brands. While the box is useful, it’s not fun and exciting.

  7. Grace

Came here to see if there were two of the Orogold Cosmetics 24K Multi-Vitamin Day Moisturizers in this box since I got two in mine, but I am only commenting to say that the concealer palette is indeed full size. The flyer states full size is .14oz for $30.95 and the back of the palette wrapper stated .14 oz.
