The Honest Company, who kindly sent me these trial bundles to review, was founded by Jessica Alba with the mission is to educate, inspire, and fulfill the promise of creating a healthy and sustainable future for our children. They offer an assortment of eco-friendly products for baby and home which you can test out through their free trial program. I actually subscribe (on my own) to the Essentials Bundle on a monthly basis (and have for YEARS) and also used to subscribe to the Diapers Bundle. The following four different subscription bundles are available:
~Diapers ($79.95/month): Includes 7 Jumbo Packs of Diapers and 4 Packages of Wipes
~Essentials ($35.95/month): Includes your choice of 5 Bath and Body and / or Household Products.
~Health & Wellness ($35.95/month): Includes your choice of 2 whole-food based vitamins and supplements.
~Feeding ($119.95/month): Includes 4 tubs of formula plus ultra pure Baby DHA.
Each of the bundles offers trial options so you can test everything out before. The Diapers, Essentials and Health & Wellness bundles are free (you will have pay a total of $4.95 shipping regardless of how many you subscribe to) and the Feeding bundle is $12.95. I opted for the Essentials and Diapers bundles for my review since those have always been the ones I loved. I do want to point out that opting in for these trials WILL enroll you in a the monthly bundle subscriptions. You have 7 days following receipt of your trial(s) to cancel your membership at any time, for any reason. This is pretty clear on the website, but I would feel bad if I didn’t mention it here too. If you sign-up for all 4 trials and forget to cancel the ones you aren’t interested in, you’ll be looking at a big charge in 7 days!
The Diapers Trial Bundle includes 7 diapers and a sample pack of wipes (10ct). You can select the size of the diapers and the prints you want in your bundle too which is awesome. The Honest Company has THE BEST diaper prints! They offer different ones by season and I don’t think I’ve come across one I didn’t love. When I first tried the diapers on WB a year or so ago, I wasn’t totally sold. But the more I used them, the more I loved them. I can’t really pinpoint what it was that I wasn’t into? Maybe just that they were different than our normal pampers? Anyway, I found them to be just as absorbent and we never had an issue with leaks. I have girlfriend who gets the bundles for her little guy (he’s 10 months) and she is also obsessed with them. She has 5 kids and this is the first one she’s used Honest Co. diapers for and I don’t think she’d switch back to anything else!
The Essentials trial bundle includes sample sizes of Shampoo + Body Wash, Face + Body Lotion, Multi-Surface Cleaner, Healing Balm and Hand Soap. We have used the Shampoo and Body Wash for ages and it’s THE BEST. I actually buy it at Costco now though because they have giant bottles of it. My monthly Essentials bundle usually includes 4-in-1 Laundry Packs, Dishwasher Packs and Dish Soap and the I will mix up the other two depending on what we are running out of. I have tried just about everything and have always been a fan of the Sunscreen line, the Kid’s toothpaste, the multi-surface cleaner and the healing balm. I just recently tried their new(ish) spray deodorant and wasn’t a big fan.
Do you subscribe to or have you tried The Honest Company (most Target’s sell some of the products as well) line? What are your favorites? If you are interested in subscribing or want get a free trial (again this will enroll you in a recurring subscription which can be canceled at anytime) head on over to their site and check them out!
