~Bump Boxes: $39.99/month. Bump Boxes offers monthly subscription boxes customized based on your due date. You can expect to find a mixture of full-sized safe, pregnancy, mom and baby essentials. Bump Boxes also offers a $10/month option which includes a mixture of curated premium samples.
**Beauty / Cosmetics / Makeup Subscription Boxes**
~So Susan Lip Love: $15.95/month. Lip Love is a monthly subscription box from So Susan Cosmetics. Each box contains 4 So Susan products – 3 of which are lip based and 1 bonus item catering to other parts of the face. Bags are revealed before they are shipped and you have the option to skip a month if you aren’t interested or you can have the bag shipped to a friend as a gift.
**Craft / Hobby Subscription Boxes**
~Embellished Boxes: ~$19/month. Embellished is a monthly subscription box company that focuses on “do it yourself” crafts. Boxes are themed and contain materials for two d.i.y. projects. Boxes are suitable for a gaiety of ages but are generally recommended for those 12+.
~Handmade Beauty Box: $31.50/month. Handmade Beauty Box is a subscription service that makes Do-It-Yourself beauty and spa products simple for everyone. Handmade Beauty Box delivers an all-inclusive set of ingredients and instructions to make the most popular DIY projects such as soaps, lotions, mineral makeup, bath fizzies, lipsticks, nail polishes, salt scrubs, candles, and more.
~Messy Box: $24.99/month. Messy Box, by A Beautiful Mess is a monthly scrapbooking subscription box. Each box is filled with items to scrapbook with including paper and cards, stickers, embellishments, and special items!
~SketchBox: $25/month. SketchBox is a monthly subscription service intended to empower artists. Each month you’ll receive premium art supplies such as prismacolor markers, uni paint markers, krink paint markers, alphacolor pastels, Caran d’Ache Luminance Colored Pencils, Charcoals, Graphite Sticks, Gum Erasers, and other mediums for you to explore. In addition you will also receive an inspirational piece of art. A Premium Box is also available for $35/month which includes higher quality materials.
**Fashion Subscription Boxes**
~Instaglam: $59/month. Instaglam is a subscription based service that offers a styled box of a top and matching accessories sent right to your door each month! Each month your box will include a top and 5 accessories. Box upgrades are also available for an additional cost.
**Fitness Subscription Boxes**
~The WOD Box: $20.49/month. The WOD Box is a way for the Functional Fitness minded to get awesome products and samples delivered to their door each and every month! Products included will range from apparel and accessories to skin and nutrition supplements.
**Food / Snack Subscription Boxes**
~TheFareTrade: $65/month. TheFareTrade is a monthly culinary upgrade club. Each month you will receive the country’s most flavorful, hand-crafted ingredients delivered to your door.
**Green / Eco-Friendly Boxes**
~Handmade Cartel: $11-$16/month. The Handmade Cartel is a lifestyle subscription service specializing in handmade cruelty free products. The Soap Only box ($11/month) includes 2-3 soaps ranging from 3.5 – 5.5 ounces while the Soap + Exclusive Deluxe Creations Box ($16/month) includes 2-3 soaps ranging from 3.5 – 5.5 ounces + 1-2 Sample, Deluxe and or Full Size Cruelty-Free Products.
**Kid’s Clothing Subscription Boxes**
~Sprouting Threads: Varies base on selection. Sprouting Threads is a subscription based clothing service that gives the members options of frequency, quantity & assortment to meet their family’s needs. Members are also given the option to “rethread” (or send pieces back after their child outgrows them) for store credit. Prices range from $90 for two outfits (1/2 new, 1/2 rethread) to $500 for 9 outfits (all new).
**Men’s Lifestyle Subscription Boxes**
~Gentleman’s Box: $25/month. Gentleman’s Box is the first subscription box that caters to the modern gentleman. Each month honors a noteworthy gentleman from the past or present. In each box you can expect to find four to five products, alongside the latest issue of GQ.
**Miscellaneous Subscription Boxes**
~Campbox Co: $39 + S/H. Campbox Co. is a monthly camping subscription box. Each box contains awesome camping and hiking gear based on the current season. Examples of items which may be included in your box are food, fuel, hydration, cookset, knives, gear, emergency kits and more.
~Pampered Teacher: $29/month. The Pampered Teacher Box is filled with special surprises in the categories of fashion, comfort, health and classroom to brighten your day! Each box is filled with surprise accessories and useful products for you, plus fashion tips and teacher inspiration!
~The Tan Box: $20/month. Tan Box sends hand selected tanning lotions, products and accessories tailored to meet your tanning needs. Each Tan Box includes 4 tanning lotions, products and accessories. Also available is the Ultimate Tan Box for $30/month. Samples in the Standard Tan Box retail for between $5 and $15 each while samples in the Premium Tan Box are considered the “top shelf” products and retail for between $15 and $25 each.
~Traditions in a Box: $35/month. Traditions in a Box sends subscribers a surprise holiday box up to six times a year. Boxes include holiday history, decorations, family crafts and activities and MORE!
**Regional Subscription Boxes**
~The B-More Box: $30/month. The B-More Box is a subscription box that showcases the best local food, regional products, and hidden gems in Baltimore and Maryland. Some of the items you may find in the box include food, art, apparel, decorations, merchandise and much more. You can opt for the B-More box for $30/month which includes 5-7 items or The Outta Towner B-More Box for $35/month which includes 7-9 items. Shipping is additional and is calculated based on your location.
~Made South: $47/quarter. Made South sends a curated shipment of Southern Goods to your door every three months. With every shipment you’ll learn about the wonderful people making great things all over the South, and every MADE SOUTH box will be hand-packaged with a lot of love.
**Subscription / Paper Subscription Boxes**
~Stationery Crate: $45.50/month. Stationery Crate is a stationery and books subscription service that delivers a crate full of surprises along with a simple feel-good activity to do every month. Items may include a collection of our high quality stationery, books, greeting cards, envelopes, stamps and much more, guaranteed to make you, and people you care about, feel good.
**Other Subscription Box News**
~Happy Mommy Box: I mentioned this before, but Happy Mommy Box is discontinuing their subscription box service. The March 2015 box will be their last. They will be announcing the future direction of their company soon.
~Luxor Box: Luxor Box has launched and is now taking orders for their first box which will ship the first week in May.
~Subscript Decor: Subscript Decor is evolving the business outside of the subscription box realm and the April box will be the last box sent to subscribers. They have decided to proceed strictly as an online retailer of home decor and arts/crafts products.
