Style Quarterly is a limited edition, themed collection of fashion and beauty surprises from independent, small businesses. Each quarter you will receive 3-6 fashion and beauty (skincare, nail care, hair care and bath + body) products, delivered to your door. Style Quarterly started out as PäshBox which was a monthly subscription box which focused primarily on scarves, however, they transitioned to quarterly boxes featuring a wider range of products last summer.
Style Quarterly ships via USPS Priority Mail during the last week of September, December, March and June. The March box shipped a bit earlier though and I was thrilled to see it in my mailbox today. I had LOVED the winter box and had high expectations for this one.
The box quite heavy and, as you can see, was packed full. I was already impressed by the first look and could tell this box wasn’t going to disappoint.
The March 2015 Style Quarterly Box theme was “Road Trippin'” and was chock full of the following travel essentials for Spring road trips:
~Standard Baggu Bag ($9): Baggus are awesome. I have a bunch and can always use more. They are super sturdy and every single one I have has held up amazingly well. They are made out of 100% ripstop nylon (the same stuff hot air balloons are made out of) and hold up to 50lbs. They are super sturdy and come in all sorts of fun colors and patterns. And they fold up small enough that you can throw it in your handbag for shopping emergencies (you know, those times when you buy more than you planned on).
~Rifle Paper Co. Bon Voyage Travel Journal ($15): I believe some subscribers received the Bon Voyage Travel Journal I received and others received the Travel Essentials Journal. Both are the same on the inside and give you a spot to document all your travels. The Style Quarterly founder uses mini pictures and washi tape in hers (a girl after my own heart) and I will likely do the same with mine.
~David and Young Elephant Paisley Square Scarf ($16): This scarf is lightweight and so fun. The patterns, the colors, I love it all.
~Aviator Sunglasses + Case (~$20): At first I thought we were just getting the sunglass case, but there were sunglasses in it as well! And what’s better is that is they are fabulous. They are oversized aviators and I will SO wear these. I’ll probably wear them tomorrow actually!
~BOX Naturals Luxe Towelettes (Rosewater) ($8.99): The information card is right, these are perfect for anything. You can use them to remove makeup, to freshen up, wipe off your hands, whatever. I have received these in subscription boxes in the past and am a fan. Throw some in your carry on or purse before you hit the road and you’ll be all set for whatever your travels bring you.
~One Love Organics Cleansing Sponge ($10) + Foaming Cleanser ($7.41): This is a totally new brand to me and I am intrigued to say the least. You can use this cleanser for your face, body and hair. For real. Now that’s packing light. I am going to save this for my next trip and see what I think. This could be a complete game changer.
~Puur Body Lemon Vanilla Body + Hair Mist ($6): I’m loving all these combination products! This is a labeled a body mist, but you can also use it in your hair to make it smell great. I sprayed it in my hair to test it out and I love it. I’m taking this on my next trip to Las Vegas to keep my hair from smelling like the smoke from the casinos.
~Karmas Canvas Reversible Good Luck Coin Bracelet ($27.72): Who doesn’t want a little good luck for their vacation? Or anytime for that matter. I like it as a bracelet, but I going to see if I can turn this into a keychain.
All totaled I came up with a value of $120.12 for the March 2015 Style Quarterly Box. The information card doesn’t list prices because they want subscribers to focus on the actual items in the box from the small businesses they support, but I did the math for you and can tell you that it’s easily worth the $49.90/month cost of the box. Easily worth it. I loved this box ;).
What do you think of Style Quarterly? This March box is now sold out, but they will be opening up subscriptions for the June box beginning on April 1st. The Summer box is on sale now! You can use the coupon code “RAM10” to save 10% off the LIFE of your subscription! Summer boxes are available through 5.15.15 or until they sell out – whichever is sooner! They work with many small businesses who make small batch items so they only offer a limited number of boxes each quarter. I don’t think they sell out in hours or anything, but you may not want to wait till the end of May to try and sign up either. I’ll post a reminder when subscriptions open and I will try and find a coupon code too!
Holy hell! I want this box!!!
This is my first Style Quarterly and to say I’m impressed is an understatement! I found this to be smart and thoughtfully curated box. I think they released the theme for the June box (Summer Nights?) and I can’t wait to see what next quarter will bring. Until then, i’ll enjoy playing with all of the wonderful products in this quarter’s box..
I think I have another favorite box! This is as fun as Little Lace Box and PopSugar!
What a fabulous box! I wish this box, along with LLB and Popsugar would start shipping to Canada/
I guess I’m in the minority, but I was underwhelmed by this box. I subscribed after seeing the fabulous December 2014 box and am disappointed with this on. The journal and the sunglasses are misses for me since I’m not much of a writer and wear prescription eyeglasses. I like the scarf and am always happy to get towelettes, but everything else is meh. I hope June is more my taste.
Im excited to rip into this box when i get back home. I love the scarf. Since popsugar im a total scarf addict. Nice mix of goodies!!!
Loved this box! I received a navy and white stripe Baggu and Lavender wipes. Can’t wait to see what we get in June!
Wow! I think this is the first I’m really hearing about this box, and it looks AMAZING. Such a great variety of items! I am definitely going to sub in April.
I am in love with those sunglasses!!!
Also, is it just me or does anyone else wish that more boxes would include journals and planners? I use so many of them and I would love to get more in boxes.

Thanks for the review! I went on FB and asked if there were any promo codes and they gave me “RAM10” for 10% off and I was able to sign up for the next box on their website. Hope that helps!! Love your reviews BTW 🙂
The body/hair spray smells just like Fruity Pebbles if anyone is wondering. Mine is labeled as Lemon Vanilla.
It smells like a sugar cookie to me. I think I’ll give it to my little cousin. Other than that I love this box.
You didn’t happen to get a 2nd box of this I could buy from you did you?
