Orange Glad March 2015 Subscription Box Review
Orange Glad March 2015 Subscription Box

Lots of boxes arrived today including my March 2015 Orange Glad Sweet Box!

The Sweet Box by Orange Glad, is a carefully curated box of sweet snacks which is delivered to your door every month. It includes 5 deluxe gourmet desserts and the Orange Glad Marketplace allows you to place orders for more of the goodies you love! I actually thought about canceling this one, but I love the snacks so much that I never ended up doing it.

The Outer Packaging

Orange Glad ships via USPS Priority Mail.  My box was set to arrive on Friday, but it didn’t make it here until today (Wednesday), so it was delated about 5 days i-transit.  Orange Glad shipped on time, but something clearly got delayed along the way with USPS!

First Look
Opened Boxes

Lots of unboxing with this one.  Inside the padded envelope was the Orange Glad Box with two smaller boxes inside.  And then the actual snacks were inside those two boxes.

The Information Card

The March 2015 Orange Glad Box included the following items:

~Lark’s Fine Foods Russian Tea Cakes: Wow!  These were much better than I was anticipating.  They are more buttery than nutty and have just the perfect amount of sugar on them.  SO good!

~Orange Glad Itty Bitties: I don’t know what could ever be wrong with butter cookies.  I absolutely love them.  These are perfect.  The only thing that would make them more perfect would have been if there were more.

~Sweet E’s Bake Shop Kiss Me I’m Irish Cake Pop: A red velvet cake pop?  Yes please!  I am saving this one and if it tastes anything like it looks, I am in for a special treat!

~Smackaroons Chocolate Almond Smackaroons: Meh.  I don’t generally like coconuts so macaroons don’t do it for me.  The chocolate on here was good though.

~Seattle Chocolates San Juan Sea Salt Truffle Bar: This bar was made with all-natural ingredients from one of the most popular chocolatiers in Seattle.  This is one of those bars where a little bit goes a long way.  You don’t need to eat the entire bar with this one to be satisfied.

I never do a cost breakdown on these boxes and I am guessing that if I did I wouldn’t get to the cost of this box.  But this box isn’t really a “value” or a deal.  It’s just a fun way to try some new treats you wouldn’t have known about otherwise.

Orange Glad Update

I just got an e-mail from Orange Glad regarding the shipping delay.  I posted the e-mail, but they are resending two of the items (the cake pop and the ittybites cookies) because they are best enjoyed right away and Orange Glad wants to make sure you try them fresh.  I thought that this was a great move on their part considering that the delay wasn’t even on their end!
