Scent Trunk March 2015 Subscription Box

Scent Trunk is a men’s fragrance subscription box. Using advanced analytics, they will find your perfect scents and ship them to you – 3 samples at a time – monthly.

The Package

Scent Trunk is based in Canada and ships free to both the United States and Canada. Scent Trunk ships on the 10th and 25th of every month  and shipping takes 2 – 4 business days. The cut off date for each shipment is 5 days prior to allow time for packaging.  So if you subscribe today (the 28th) your first shipment would be on the 10th of April and your second shipment would be the 10th of May.

First Look

This was my first ever Scent Trunk and was impressed by their packaging!  I didn’t realize it when I opened my package but shipments are also supposed to include information cards with details on each of the scents (you can check them out in a review from Girl Meets Box).  I was able to find all of the details online though, so it wasn’t a big deal.  Here are the scents we received this month:

~Imaginary Authors – Memoirs of a Trespasser– This scent has Balsamic, Vanilla, Woody notes and is described as a Fall / Winter scent.  I found this scent to be strong, but in a good way.

Imaginary Authors – Memoirs of a Trespasser

~Le Roi Empereur Eau de Parfum Collection Imperiale by Rance 1795: I’m such a sucker for packaging and this one has a fun candy like wrapper on it.  It has notes of Anise, Lavender, Orange flower, Rose, Cardamon, Iris, Violet, Amber, Cedar, Leather, Reunion Cinnamon and Woodland Musk.  It’s not my favorite scent in this bunch, but it’s growing on me.

~Ineke Chemical Bonding Eau de Parfum: This is an all-seasons scent and has notes of Smooth Citrus Cocktail, Blackberry, Tea, Dewy Peony and Amber, Powdery Musk, Vetiver. I really liked this one and think it was mu favorite of the bunch!

I didn’t do a cost breakdown on this box but I thought it was a fun way to discover some scents you may never have been introduced to otherwise.  These aren’t scents you will run into at Macy’s or Sephora (at least not the ones around me) and is a fun way to switch things up scent wise!
