~Next up – the flu. It started with L on Wednesday, hit WB on Friday night and then moved on to B on Saturday. Well, B thinks it was the flu, but I think he might have just been super hungover. Either way he was down for the count on Saturday. Basically I am the only one it didn’t hit. At least not yet anyway. Happily everyone seems to be back to normal now though.
~Have you tried the Starbucks Birthday Cake Frappuccino? It’s vanilla bean and hazelnut flavored and is topped with a raspberry infused whipped cream. Some people even got sprinkles on theirs (or so Instagram tells me), but mine didn’t. I thought it tasted more like vanilla bean than hazelnut and was super sweet / sugary, but I seeing how I like all those things, I liked this. It’s only available through tomorrow though so if you want to try it, get to Starbucks ASAP.
~I (finally) selected 5 of the 10 random winners in the Bracket Challenge! They are “lauryn”, “vaw001”, “Ronna4671”, “joshuasills1” and “vindsr1”! I will be e-mailing you, but you have each won a $25 gift card to Target, Starbucks, Birchbox, Nordstrom, or iTunes (*)! I will pick 5 more random winners next weekend and then of course the top 3 overall when the final game is over will win prizes!
~Because I am in such a good mood about the Spartan win (and also because I don’t have the flu), I am going to do a little giveaway! I am giving away a $100 Gift Card to KEEP Collective! I am kind of obsessed with my MSU Keeper and am pretty sure you’ll be hooked too! If you want to place an order between now and 4.6.2015 I will refund your shipping via PayPal and if you happen to be selected as the winner and place an order I will refund your order for you (and give you the difference if there is any left over). And if you just want to enter, that’s more than fine too!
That’s it for now! What are you doing tonight? Anything exciting going on next week?
(*) In case you are curious how I did the selections, I used the Google Form you completed and turned it into a spreadsheet. After I cleaned up the duplicates each of the entries were assigned a number. I then used Random.org and pulled 5 numbers. I double checked to make sure that the names from the google document had all actually filled out brackets in the Challenge (everyone had) and that was that!
