Wantable Makeup March 2015 Subscription Box Review
Wantable Makeup March 2015

Wantable, who kindly sent me this box to review, offers four different types of subscription boxes. This box is their makeup box, which includes 4 to 5 full-sized premium makeup products, hand-picked to perfectly match your preferences. They also offer intimates, fitness and accessories boxes, again customized to your preferences.  And unlike the majority of other subscription boxes, Wantable allows you to return the box if you aren’t totally 100% happy. And they just switched things up a little and now allow you to return a portion of your box!  Wantable now lists “Your Price” on the information card along with the Retail Price so you can easily determine the amount of credit you will receive if you opt to return items.  If you end up keeping your entire box, a credit of $4 will be posted to your account – making your next box $36.

The Box

Wantable ships via DHL Global Mail and took just under a week to arrive.  They are only a state over from me, but that’s how DHL seems to work.  Wantable ships at the same time each month as when you originally subscribed.  So if you subscribed at the end of the month, your box will ship at the end of the month.

The first look seemed empty, but I was also excited because everything looked good.

Preferences

Like I mentioned before, you can totally customize your Wantable box.  You fill out a questionnaire telling them what you Love, Like and Dislike.  You’ll get more of the things you Love, some of the things you Like and none of the things you Dislike.  It also asks about color preferences and that sort of thing.  The only Dislike I have is eyeliner and it’s been working out well for me.

The Information Card

My March 2015 Wantable Makeup box included the following items:

~Au Naturale Lip & Cheek Tint (Pink Punch) (Retail: $22, Your Price: $11.89): This color is so bright, but SO fun!  It works on your cheeks and lips and you can make it as “intense” or light as you want.  A little of this goes a long way for me, so I will have this for ages.

~Frankie Rose Cosmetics Lip Gloss (Gala Pink) (Retail: $16, Your Price: $8.65): This gloss is not sticky at all (which is key to a good lip gloss) and this is another one where a little goes a long way. You wouldn’t really think it with this one and I was surprise, but it does.

~Sorme Lip Thick Plumping Lip Gloss (Doll) (Retail: $16, Your Price: $9.73): Now I suspect most people would be like 3 lip products?  Geez!  But I love it!  This plumped without a ton of stinging or burning and was nice and glossy.  I wouldn’t use it everyday, but it’s fun for special nights out.

~Billion Dollar Brows Brow Powder (Taupe) (Retail: $18, Your Price: $9.73): I don’t use a ton of brow products, so I may end up passing this one on to a friend.  But I am intrigued by this so it could go either way.

All totaled I came up with a value of $72 for the March 2015 Wantable Makeup box. This box was pretty heavy on lip products, but I loved it!  It’s probably one of my favorite recent Wantable makeup boxes.  It was a review box, but I would have kept it all regardless.

Do you subscribe to Wantable?  If so, what’d you get in your box (makeup or accessories or intimates) this month? And if you don’t subscribe, what are you waiting for? There is no risk involved so why not?
