My first thought?  That this looked like a fantastic box!  It was neatly packaged and looked like it was packed full of high-quality items.

The Information Card

The April 2015 Gentleman’s Box included the following items:

~GQ Magazine – April 2015 ($5.99): I am so jealous because I would love a monthly subscription box for women that includes a magazine!  B likes GQ and will likely take it on next week’s trip with him as a little airplane reading material.

~Gents Mode Knit Tie ($29.90): B doesn’t wear a ton of ties to work anymore, but I’m sure he’ll wear this a few times.  Some knit ties look like they are already frayed when you get them, but this was tightly knit and doesn’t appear to snag easily.

~Gents Mode Anchor Bracelet ($20): I couldn’t locate the price for this one online so I am going with the price from the information card.  I like bracelets on men and hope that B starts to wear them more than just the day they come in a subscription box.

~Niche for Men Deodorizing Wipes ($3): These are going to perfect for B for Bonnaroo!  Last time he went I sent him with a giant pack of baby wipes and I will do the same this time, but these are even better.  They are individually packaged so you can throw them in your pocket and take with you when you are watching shows in the 100 degree heat.

~Tretorn No Show Socks ($10): Please tell me someone else used to have a pair of Tretorns?  They were the coolest shoes and I had no idea they were still around.  I need to check out what styles they offer these days!  But back to the socks, B will totally wear these this summer to work with some dress shoes. They are lightweight and stretchy and won’t make your feet sweat.

~Real Detergent for The Modern Man ($3): I didn’t know that there was even such a thing as a laundry detergent just for men.  It smells manly (like a light cologne) and I’ll use it for B’s next time I do laundry.

All totaled I came up with a value of about $72 for the April 2015 Gentleman’s Box.  I was really impressed with this box.  It’s a great value for the $25 price tag and it was such a well-rounded box.  I’ve only gotten one box, but based on this one and the previous boxes on their website, I totally recommend it!

This looks like a great box. We cancelled our birchbox man because we kept getting weird items that didn’t match my guys taste.I will keep this one in mind.

Oh my gosh I totally had tretorns. I need to go and check them out.
Too funny with that detergent they were one of the shark tank items on GMA yesterday morning. They did not win but I thought it would be great in a mans box. LOL they have a perfect market.

I love this box! It would be the perfect gift for my brother – thanks for the review!

Are the socks non-slip? i.e. grips on the inside of the heel like Taft no-show socks. Otherwise, looks great and can’t wait to get mine for this month. Particularly the detergent.

Are you still receiving this box? What do you think of the items that are coming? I feel that from the reviews I read and the examples from their website, you get deminishing value from these boxes the longer you subscribe.
