This month’s Playitforward Kids included the following activities:

Sidewalk Surprise

The first project in the box included the necessary materials to make a “Sidewalk Surprise”.  The idea is to leave a surprise outside of a school, church, library or local public property.  You can use the included stencils or draw something on your own to brighten someone’s day.  Up until yesterday a lot of our sidewalks still had snow on them, so we didn’t do this one yet.  It’ll be fun for the kids to do and a fun surprise for someone to come across.

Surprise Egg Hunt

The second project in the box included the materials to leave a surprise egg hunt for a child in a local park.  It included six eggs along with a little surprise toy inside.  It also included a basket with a note attached explaining what to do.  Again since out snow just melted (like today) we haven’t gotten a chance to get out and do this yet.  My kids are already excited about doing it though and I know they would be thrilled to come across something like this in the park too!

Random Act of Kindness

The final item in this month’s box was three Random Act of Kindness butterfies.  You leave the butterfly and one of the notes somewhere (a library, grocery store, etc) to brighten someone’s day!

What do you think of Playitforward Kids? I love the idea but do wish the price point was lower.  If you are interested in ordering you can use coupoin code “25OFF” to save 25% off your first month!
