Love With Food sends members a curated box filled unique gourmet food items. The “Tasting Box” is $12/month and offers with 8+ snacks and the “Deluxe” box is $19.95/month and includes 16-20 snacks. Love With Food also offers a Gluten-Free box for $29/month which includes 8-12 surprise gluten-free snacks each month. Each box brings new delights, with bites that vary based on seasonal themes. In addition, Love With Food donates a meal (some months they actually donate two meals) to a child in need with each box purchased, which you can read more about here. This review is on the April Tasting Box.
Love With Food ships via USPS. Boxes typically ship on the 10th of the month (the box I purchase each month shipped yesterday), but I received this one a tad early for review purposes. If you order by the 1st of the month your box will arrive that month. If you order after the 1st, it will arrive the following month. Orders placed today will begin with the May box which ships around the 10th of May.
This box looked awesome! Last month wasn’t my favorite they have done, but I could already tell this one was going to be a win.
The April 2015 Love With Food theme was “Starry Nights” and included the following items:
~Shortbread by Walkers: I love shortbread cookies and these are awesome. The information card suggest pairing them with tea, but coffee or even milk is just as good. They are buttery and amazing.
~Garlic Olive Oil Pasta Chips by Vintage Italia: According to the information card, pasta chips have 60% less fat than regular chips. I feel like they are more like crackers than chips though. They are really good though. Really good.
~Green Tea Tropical by Mighty Leaf Tea: Tea isn’t my thing so I will pass this along to my cousin to enjoy.
~Sour Beans by Yumearth: These are made from real fruit extracts, no artificial dyes or flavors and provide 100% of the required daily Vitamin C intake. L loves when I pack these in his lunch so I will be saving them for him for next week.
~Lemon Zest Mini by Luna: Luna bars are the best! Lemon Zest ones aren’t my favorite flavor (I like the S’mores and the Chocolate Peppermint Stick best), but Lemon Zest Luna bars are still better than bars from most other brands.
~Graham Sticks by Back To Nature: Back To Nature snacks have been in a few boxes before and I am always happy to see them. They are made with no artificial preservatives or flavors and no high fructose corn syrup and are just a better for you version of graham crackers.
~Wild Garden Hummus Snack Pack by Ziyad: I have been excited to get this ever since I saw the April spoiler. These are awesome snacks to take on the go. The quinoa chips are delicious and I love hummus so that’s a win too. The only thing that could have made this better would have been flavored hummus!
I never do a cost breakdown for Love With Food, but this month’s box has 7 snacks so it worked out to just under $2 per item. I absolutely loved this month’s box. Last months was a little too healthy for what I am looking for from a box like this, but this month was perfection!
