Luxury Barber Box April 2015 Subscription Box Review
Luxury Barber Box April 2015 Subscription Box

Luxury Barber Box is a monthly grooming subscription box for men. Each month you will receive over 10 products from various grooming categories plus a full size product showcasing their Brand of the Month.

The Box

Boxes are shipped via USPS on the 20th of the month.  The information card doesn’t say, but I think that this is the March box since the April ones haven’t shipped yet.

First Look

I wasn’t overly familiar with this box so I went into it not knowing what to expect.  I was really happy to see such a great brand in the first look.

The Information Card

The March 2015 Luxury Barber Box contained the following items:

~Balla Spray ($20): B has the powder from this same brand and really likes it so I was super excited to see this. We both thought it smelled great and it’s also quite moisturizing which we weren’t expecting.

Balla Spray

~E-shave Preshave Cucumber ($22): This smells refreshing and is good for sensitive and normal skin alike.  I really don’t know if B uses a pre shave oil, but I am sure know that he has this he will use it.

~7 o’clock Gilette and Croma Blades ($14.50): I know that B thinks you get a super close shave when you use blades like this, but he also finds it super time consuming so he doesn’t do it a ton.  But I can totally tell the difference when he does and I love it.

~Soapy Bathman Sandalwood Shave Soap (~$3): I love the woodsy smell of this!  I keep calling it soapy “batman” though.  LOL!

~Luxury Barber Fresh Richie Men’s Wipes ($2): Every time B gets wipes like this I put them away for his trip to Bonnaroo.  They will come in very hand and these are much more portable than walking around with a pack of baby wipes.

~Menaji Face & Scrub Body (Sample): This is probably a one-use sample, but B will happily use it.  I have never known anyone as good at using up samples as he us.

~Dr. Rubin’s Abraham Pomade ($10): I tested this out on WB and I was impressed by how nicely it held his hair.  It’s super soft and doesn’t take product very well.  But this worked quite nicely.

~Towel Dry Thickening Shampoo & Hydrating Shampoo (~$4):  Not huge samples, but they will be good for a few uses and a nice size for an overnight trip or to take to the gym

All totaled I came up with an estimated value of $75.50 for the March 2015 Luxury Barber Box.  B and I were both quite impressed by this one. The value was over double the cost of the box and it was full of great brands!
