The Sweet Box by Orange Glad, is a carefully curated box of sweet snacks which is delivered to your door every month. It includes 5 deluxe gourmet desserts and the Orange Glad Marketplace allows you to place orders for more of the goodies you love!
Orange Glad ships via USPS Priority Mail in a padded flat rate envelope and took just a few days to arrive.
Lots of boxes to unbox in this one! There was no need for a cold pack in this box, but they do include them in the summer months if they ship chocolates or something else that may melt.
Orange Glad changed up the information card this month and now sends a larger information booklet instead of just a postcard. The booklet has a page for each of the vendors which includes a little background on them along with product details. The April 2015 Orange Glad box included the following:
~A Couple of Squares Chocolate Chip Biscuit: I have no idea how these ended up all smashed, but they tasted just fine. WB was helping me unbox everything and this was the snack he was most excited to try. He loved it. It was buttery with just the right amount of chocolate chips.
~Toffee Talk Almond Toffee: I am not a huge fan of toffee so I thought I’d save these for B when he gets home so he can try them too.
~Zesty Cookie Company Hot Cocoa Cookies: I first tried these in a Hammock Pack last fall and they are great. They have cayenne in them so there is a kick to them for sure so be prepared!
~Fairytale Brownies Original Brownie: This is incredible. It’s dense and rich and chocolately and is everything a brownie should be.
~QUIN Candy Dreams Come Chew: These arrived in a Fancy Food Box last summer and I was super excited to see them again. They are kind of like Now and Laters or Starburst except they are much much softer. And taste way better.
I didn’t do a cost breakdown on Orange Glad (I never do), but Orange Glad isn’t necessarily a subscription box that is going to save you any money. It’s just a fun way to discover and try some new treats.
