~Good evening! WB would like to say thank you to everyone who wished him a Happy Birthday today! He had a great day.  We had Panera for lunch (his choice) and then he had a little cake and ice-cream party later in the afternoon.  It was a good day to turn 3!

The Birthday Boy!

~I mentioned it earlier in the week, but we got WB a Hape All Seasons house for his birthday.  I was hoping / thinking he’d like it, but it turns out he LOVED it.  Like he loved it.  And so did L.  He helped us build it after WB went to bed last night and then arranged all the furniture for him.  It’s probably one of my favorite toys we have gotten the boys.  So fun!

~Did you hit up the Target + Lily event today?  I posted about the mess I had online trying to order last night earlier today (and this BuzzFeed article sums it up nicely), but I know some people went out later in the day to check it out.  How’d it go?  Things sold out FAST around here.  Like crazy fast.  I couldn’t even believe it.  I heard of a few stores by me where fights broke out.  No joke. Fighting over floral dresses.  Ahh!!!  If you are still hoping to snag something and want to avoid ebay (who can blame you), keep checking your Target for returns.  If you purchased something and decide you don’t want it, it MUST be returned within 15 days.  Most of the displays have been taken down so whatever gets returned is going to end up all mixed in with the normal stuff, so you might get lucky!

~I don’t have much to report subscription box wise right now.  I still need to get the box list updated and have that on my To Do list this week.  The May POPSUGAR Must Have Box is sold out for new subscribers so if you don’t already have a subscription and sign up now, you’re subscription will begin with the June box. And according to a post on Facebook, FrenchBox will begin their subscription service again in May.  I can’t wait to see how they have revamped.

~Did you see that the season of Naked & Afraid starts tonight?  I love that show and cannot wait to watch it tomorrow.  It’s so far outside of my comfort zone and I am so blown away that people actually do the show (and some even do it quite well) that I cannot look away.

~That’s all from here!  I hope you are having a good Sunday night!

awww, happy birthday big guy!!! i love that he loves Panera! and i’m so glad you got the boys the house!

the thing i don’t get about the lilly collection is the amount of money they spent promoting it. it was really truly significant. why put that kind of ad firepower behind something with so little product? for sure i ended up with my consolation turtle (which i had been wanting to get anyways) but i didn’t make any crazy impulse buys in the store or anything. and neither did the 50 women who checked out and were gone by the time i arrived at 8:30. i did buy baby food. whoop de doo.

Nothing says middle-class 40-something soccer mom drama quite like fights over Lilly Pulitzer at Target! haha

    Happy Birthday WB!

I’ll be checking my little Target since I drive past it often. My husband encourage me to buy an outfit off of the Lilly Pultizer site so I will be looking more for home products which I doubt will be returned.

What outfit did you get?? I might snag something when they release their summer prints tomorrow.

I read this last night and forgot which post had the comment. I had to refresh the comments on the Sunday morning blog post to see my comment. I bought the Michelle V-Neck Top in Ariel Blue and the 5″ buttercup Scallop hem in Ariel Blue Lion in the Sun. I also took their true fit test to determine sizing.

I also want a couple dresses, but it will have to be a different month. This month has been expensive with all the Mother Day releases! What interests you? I love the Pearl Cut Halter Dress. I’m not sure how the dresses would look on me. Dresses like the Christie V-Nexk T Shirt dress look the best on me.

I woke up around 8, and saw the madness that was happening at all the Targets on the news (aka Facebook lol) and I just decided not to try and go. Curiosity got the best of me and I ended up venturing to my local target in the afternoon. Surprisingly the displays were still up and they still had a few items and I ended up getting a cellphone case and a cute little wristlet. I guess people in my area aren’t as crazed for Lily. I will for sure be heading to my target tomorrow morning though to see if theres anything that was returned! I really wanted one of those dresses, but I refuse to buy them from any of the resellers on eBay!

Oh Lily what a mess. I’ve never been a huge Lily fan. It’s just a little bright for me. LOL but wow being in the south really got people all excited. The stuff was gone here super fast. We went to my local little Target after lunch and everything was gone. Well I think there were a couple random houseware things but nothing I would have wanted. Based on what some of the online local mommies are saying if you look online some of our local stores have some random pieces too but I don’t plan to go around hunting for them. I do have a Lily store at our mall so I could always go there if I get the urge. LOL

So I checked how much my $24 Lilly blouse is going for on Ebay… $70! Wha? My husbands goes “sell, sell, sell!” Tempting….
Naked & afraid~ It’s just SO fascinating. I even watched it with my Mom (which ya know, is kindof weird in itself) but she couldn’t look away either. I loved the one where the woman stayed out there the whole time after the guy crumbled. It makes me wonder if I could sip a puddle of water through some bamboo…
