The Bride Box, who sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box for, you guessed it, brides! It contains fun full-sized gifts, samples, and more and is catered specifically to brides who are in the wedding planning process.
The Bride Box ships via USPS Priority Mail and took just a few days to arrive.
The Bride Box sends pampering items, items which can be used at your wedding, wedding inspiration, samples and everything in between so you never know what you’ll be getting in your box!
The April 2015 The Bride Box contained the following:
~Let’s Tie the Knot Stemless Wine Glass ($14.95): This company specializes in custom sandblast engraving. If you want it on a glass, they seem to be able to do it! The glass itself is heavy and not something you would worry about breaking if you set it down wrong.
~Bayou Accents Cake Pull ($8): I am not familiar at all with the tradition of cake pulls, but it sounds really fun. I guess they are placed into the bottom layer of the wedding cake for the bride’s single friends. Each woman pulls a ribbon from the cake to “reveal her destiny”. The charms all have different meanings and they come with little cards so you know what your charm means. I received the Ring which means “Here comes the Bride”.
~Zaaina Skincare Soap ($6.75): This soap is all-natural and is handmade in the US. It smells good (not too strong) and either B or I will use it.
~The Bride Box Sunglasses ($8): Oh I totally would have made (or tried to anyway) B wear Bride and Groom sunglasses! LOL! I will still wear these now. They do custom ones too so you could snag some for your wedding party, Bachelorette party, etc. as well!
~Tieks Offer: Ohhh, I am so curious to hear what this is. There was one card in the box that said to contact Tieks about their special bridal offer and then a second card which said to stay tuned to your e-mail for a special offer! I hope it’s a coupon code. I’ll update this post when it arrives.
~Tips: The tip card this month was all about “Bridal Survival” and how to be prepared for anything! The back showed all the necessary essentials for a Wedding Survival Kit. You never know what you’ll need until it’s too late, so it’s better to over prepare than under prepare.
All totaled I came up with a value of $45.70 for the April 2015 The Bride Box. I really enjoyed this box and I loved reading about the cake pulls! That sounds like my kind of thing!
