Hammock Pack is a monthly surprise pack filled with everything you need to take a much needed getaway without even leaving your home. Boxes are geared towards women and each month you will receive a pack filled with a mix of food, bath products, housewares, and accessories that you’d only find if you visited that month’s destination city.
Hammock Pack ships via USPS Priority Mail around the 25th of the month. This month’s box went out later than that though because I just received it today (on the 4th of May).
I had already checked out the spoilers on this one, but only briefly, so opening it was a semi-surprise.
The April 2015 Hammock Pack destination was “Utah” and included the following items:
~All Good Provisions – Banana Chips ($4.40) and Pistachios ($3.50): I really liked the banana chips, but I will end up passing along the pistachios to B. They are certified organic and non-GMO and use only earth-friendly packaging.
~Refined Benefit – Lavender Bath Set ($14.40): First of all let me just say that the body scrub smells 100x better than it looks. It looks like relish if you ask me! I tested the scrub on my hands and it left them feeling very soft. The Bath & Body Oil was nice without being slippery or greasy and I have yet to try the bath soak,. but it does smell good. This company is family-owned and they were inspired to create naturally hydrating products because of the dry climate in Utah.
~Sycamore Street Press – Greeting Card ($4.50): Gorgeous card! It was created by a husband and wife team and works for any occasion. It’s made on a nice heavy paper and I love the unique design.
~Purring Buddha Lip Balm ($3.99): You know I love this! It’s lip balm and it smells good. What’s not to like? It’s also handmade using fair trade, organic and cruelty-free ingredients.
All totaled I came up with a value of $30.79 for the April 2015 Hammock Pack. While it wasn’t my favorite box from them, I thought it was a solid one and also thought it was very well rounded product wise!
What do you think of Hammock Pack? What city / state would you like to see them do next?
