Hazel Lane sent out an e-mail with an assortment of updates last night. As I mentioned in my Seattle review, the box was missing a few items and it looks like we received some answers. They will be sending out a $5 off Cupcake Royale shop coupon code (the box didn’t include a code) and they are working on a fix for whatever issue it was that caused the Seattle Cider bottle openers not to be included in the box. The information card just stated “Seattle Cider” so I thought we were getting an actual bottle of hard cider (don’t ask how I thought they were mailing that to everyone), but it’s actually bottle openers! That makes SO much more sense! I’ll update this post when I receive / hear more about these replacements.
The e-mail also included a coupon code. New subscribers can use the coupon code “HAYBAE” to save $10 off your first box, making it just $35. The June box destination is Venice Beach and should be shipping at the end of the month.
What is Hazel Lane?
Hazel Lane ($45/month) sends a carefully curated box of surprise goodies from that month’s selected city that they think represents its spirit. The idea is to give you an affordable way to explore the world without having to leave your house! Items you can expect to see included are food, drink, clothing, accessories and handcrafted items chosen by locals with the environment, social responsibility and CHICNESS in mind.
