Kloverbox, who kindly sent me this box for review, is a great way to try premium, all-natural and organic products for beauty, health, nutrition and convenience. Each month you will receive 6-8 premium products to sample, each from top brands and hand-picked by their health conscious curators. Boxes are $25/month and will have a value of a least double the cost of the box.
Kloverbox ships via USPS Priority Mail – generally between the 15th and 18th of the month. This month must have been a little later than that since I didn’t receive it until today (the 30th).
The first look was very bright! It’s been raining outside all day today but this certainly brightened things up.
The May 2015 Kloverbox theme was “I’m Walking on Sun Shine! Woahh! Oh!!” and included the following items:
~Delizioso Skin Care – TARA Adorned Blushing Mousse ($29.95): This is the type of product I love. It works on eyelids, lips and / or cheeks and has a light mousse texture. The color is a little shimmery and seems like it could work somewhere on everyone.
~Preserve – Triple Razor System ($8.50): The handle to this razor was made entirely out of, get this, yogurt cups. For real! How cool is that? That alone makes me love it. I would love to see how exactly they do it. So interesting.
~Eco-armour – Shave With Benefits Shaving Foam (Mint + Eucalyptus) ($14.99): I’ve mentioned it before, but I don’t use shaving cream. I might have made an exception for the Pomegranate + Mango scent though. That sounds amazing!
~Eco-armor Mango Butter Lip Balm ($5.99): This stuff not only smells (and tastes) fantastic, but it’s also 100% botanical. I found it to be moisturizing without being too “soft” which sometimes happens with lip balms.
~Pure – Ancient Grains Bar ($2.19): I know I have tried these before, but I can’t figure out what box they came in. I don’t recall liking them the first time, but this was good. Not amazing, but good.
All totaled I came up with a value of $61.62 for the May 2015 Kloverbox. I loved that they include lots of brands they haven’t appeared in subscription boxes in the past. They always provide a fantastic value too!

Ok. Sorry to be nosy but what do you use instead of shaving cream? Asking cause maybe I should not be using it.
I don’t use anything! Just water and usually a men’s razor. I have used shaving cream but I feel like it clogs up the razor? Maybe I was just using the wrong stuff? But anyway, just water from the shower and the razor works just fine for me!
I canceled because of this box ? I got the razor last month from Goodebox. I don?t need another lip balm (it seems like there is a lip balm in every kloverbox). The highest valued item is a lip color I cannot/will not use ? it?s SO bright and makes me look like a hooker. I?m not interested in the shave foam or bar. I noticed there was no Etsy shop featured this month, either. I?d rather spend my $25 on something I know I will love and use. I was also billed for my next box before I received this month?s box? Not cool. I tried to cancel (I?ve sent several emails between yesterday and today), and I have yet to receive a response to my last email. I don?t want the June box, and I want my money back.
I don’t use shaving cream either unless it comes in a sub box. Soap and water does the trick for me.
Jennifer – Did you smell the blushing mousse? It smells delicious. I think it is vanilla scented.
I think it is a nice theme for the beginning of summer, but it is a miss for me. It’s unfortunate for Kloverbox that the razor was featured in Goodebox the month before. I gave my sister the one in Goodebox and will probably give her this one too. I think I would be more excited about the shaving cream if I received the Eucalyptus and Mint. I received the pom and mango instead. My razor is purple. I like that the lip butter is SPF 15. I tend to forget about my lips. My sister will enjoy the snack because it is gluten free. I like that the blushing mousse has different uses. Not every month is amazing. There’s nothing I am allergic to which is a plus. It’s just an off box for me. It happens.
Finally got my first klover box. I didn’t like having to pay for two boxes before even receiving the first. But I remained hopeful. However, I ended up being very disappointed. The blush/lip cream looks, smells, and feels terrible. Hooker pink/red is about right. The mango lip balm looks used and is dry. I subscribe to many different boxes and this box was the bottom of the barrel. I had heard good reviews, but between taking forever to arrive, and the poor quality, this subscription will be very short lived. Canceling before more money gets wasted. Buyer beware.
I tried the Blushing Mousse on my lips. I applied it with a single applicator and a light hand. It looks amazing! It brightens up my face and makes my eyes pop. I love it!!!
