Treatsie is a couture candy of the month club that delivers individually sourced confections from all over the world to your mailbox. They now also offer a Chocolate Bar Subscription ($45.95/month) which sends you 5-6 full sized gourmet chocolate bars from different small batch vendors each month.
Treatsie ships via USPS during the second half of the month. They have a shipping calendar on their website which you can check to find exact shipment dates for future months. In the warmer months Treatsie uses cool packs in their shipments to make sure everything arrives in perfect condition.
I don’t remember if we received any spoilers for this box, but I had no idea what was going to be included when I opened it up.
The May 2015 Treatsie Box included the following items:
~Keena’s Kake Designs Fudgeez Chocolate Brownie: This is delicious. Just delicious. It’s dense, but kind of flakey at the same time. It’s really really good.
~Hard Crack Toffee Chip Cookies: At first look I thought these were all the same flavor, but then I realized that they are three different flavors (original, chocolate chip and mocha). Way better! Although some of the cookies arrived broken they are still really good.
~Bequet Confections Caramel Assortment: I love caramels and liked the chocolate and salted butterscotch from this bag, but the cinnamon swirl wasn’t for me. I don’t think I have ever tried a cinnamon caramel before though, so that was neat.
I couldn’t find prices for everything online, but according to the information card this has a value of $21 (before shipping). I liked the box well enough, but do wish it would have had more than three different products in it.

I’m thinking about ordering the brownies.
I thought it was a bit lazy..or disappointing…or some negative adjective, to put three flavors of one item in the box rather than five different items. For my first box from them, it made me sad. Boxes are all about surprise and VARIETY! :O)
