Wantable Makeup May 2015 Subscription Box Review
Wantable Makeup May 2015 Subscription Box

Wantable offers five different types of subscription boxes. This box is their makeup box, which includes 4 to 5 full-sized premium makeup products, hand-picked to perfectly match your preferences. They also offer intimates, fitness, style and accessories boxes, again customized to your preferences.  And unlike the majority of other subscription boxes, Wantable allows you to return the box if you aren’t totally 100% happy. They recently switched things up a little and allow you to return a portion of your box!  Wantable now lists “Your Price” on the information card along with the Retail Price so you can easily determine the amount of credit you will receive if you opt to return items.  If you end up keeping your entire box, a credit of $4 will be posted to your account – making your next box $36.

The Box

Wantable ships via DHL Global Mail and took just under a week to arrive.  They are only a state over from me, but that’s how DHL seems to work.  Wantable ships at the same time each month based on when you originally subscribed.  So if you subscribed at the end of the month, your box will always ship at the end of the month.

Preferences

Like I mentioned before, you can totally customize your Wantable box.  You fill out a questionnaire telling them what you Love, Like and Dislike.  You’ll get more of the things you Love, some of the things you Like and none of the things you Dislike.  It also asks about color preferences and that sort of thing.  I have had only Eyeliner as a Dislike for a while now and I have been pretty pleased with my boxes.

First Look

Not a bad first look on this one.

The Information Card

My May 2015 Wantable Makeup box included the following items:

~Fran Wilson MOODmatcher Twist Stick (Retail Price: $8, Your Price $3.44): I missed the part where this was a”mood” lip crayon and just thought, wow, what an ugly color.  It’s obviously not though.  It’s really pretty and I love the soft pinks I have been getting from it.

~Mirabella Glowing Coral Highlighter (Retail Price: $38, Your Price $16.34): Ohh, how pretty is this?  The pattern on it is just so gorgeous.  I may end up giving it as a gift so I didn’t want to swipe my finger through it.

Mirabella Glowing Coral Highlighter

~Doucce Brow Pencil Filler Heavy Brown (Retail Price: $22, Your Price $9.46): I try not to have to fill my brows in, but I have been known to over pluck, so it’s needed from time to time.  This color is perfect for me and you can apply it as lightly or as heavily as you want.

~Vincent Longo PearlX Eyeshadow – Novalei (Retail Price: $25, Your Price $10.75): Wow.  I thought the Mirabella was pretty.  Look at this!  It’s beautiful.  So many different colors and textures in here.  You can do a ton of different looks with this one.

All totaled my May 2015 Wantable makeup collection has a value of $93 which is more than double the cost of the box.  I am quite impressed with it and thought everything was a great fit for me.  This was probably one of my favorite Wantable makeup collections in a long time!

Do you subscribe to Wantable?  If so, what’d you get in your box (makeup, accessories, intimates, fitness or the new style edit) this month? And if you don’t subscribe, what are you waiting for? There is no risk involved so why not?
