First Look

Baxter and Buddy have been getting spoiled with Pet boxes lately and have taken to standing next to me when I open them all. They could smell right away that this was one of their boxes.

The Card

Box Furr You doesn’t include an information card with product details, but they did general a general information card.  My Medium Dog box contained the following:

~Kong Winders ($9.42): I did a little googling and it appears this guy is an owl.  Well okay, if you say so.  I don’t know what I thought this was, but it wasn’t an owl.  It is, however, a perfect toy for WB and Buddy.  They play tug-of-way a lot and can get rough with their toys.

~KONG Air Dog ($2.50): I guess that this was a medium box because I am not too sure that my dogs (who are small) would be able to carry this.  They probably could if they really tried, but they wouldn’t.

~Plato Natural Duck Dog Treats ($5.39): These treats are all-natural and contain no by-products.  They are over 90% duck and they pretty much stink.  At least I thought they did.  Not that dog treats generally smell delicious anyway.  LOL.  Anyway, the dogs loved them.

~Blue Buffalo BLUE Bits ($5.56): These are the perfect sized treats for my dogs.  They are all natural and are enhanced with added vitamins and minerals.  They are soft and chewy and the dogs loved them.

~Whimzees Alligator ($5.40): This  is so cute!  I am going to give it to my brothers dogs (who are larger than mine), but I might look into the smaller versions of these for my dogs.  They are all-natural and help to remove tarter and plaques from your dogs teeth when they chew on them.

All totaled I came up with a value of $28.27 for the June 2015 Box Furr You box. I always use online prices (not suggested retail) and don’t include shipping in my prices.  I thought everything in this box was high-quality and between my dogs and my brother’s 3 dogs we will use it all!

So funny, the problem I have with dog subs is getting toys that are too SMALL (or delicate) for my rambunctious large dogs. I may have to check this out if this is what they send small dogs LOL

This was a medium box! They have a large box too!

I definitely have to check this box out! I had a subscription to PupBox for the last 6 months that I just had to cancel. Not because my puppy ( 7 1/2 months) and my older dog (8 1/2 years) didn’t love it–they did. However, the dog toys they were sending in the last 3 boxes were literally destroyed in about an hour. My boxer LOVES toys and even as a puppy he is very hard on the toys. The last box had this cute little striped stuff toy with rope arms–I texted a picture to my daughter at college and told her how adorable it was and I wanted to keep it for me. Bruno took off with it and within 10 minutes (no lie) he had eviscerated it, stuffing and squeaker out and the poor toy had to be put to rest. I wish there was a way on their website to request more durable toys for voracious chewers but there isn’t so I had to cancel it. I was going to look into BarkBox but maybe I’ll see what this one carries. Thanks for the great reviews!
