Dottiebox, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box full of high quality handmade items for women, from both small businesses and indie brands. They offer their standard Dottiebox which is $26/month and a Dottiebox Mini subscription, which is $13/month. I did a review on the June (full-sized) Dottiebox and now it’s time for the Dottiebox Mini review.
Dottiebox (and Dottiebox Mini) ship via USPS. The full-sized box ships during the first week of the month while the mini box ships more towards mid-month.
I hadn’t peeked to see which vendors would be in this month’s “Mini” box (they list them on the website) so opening this was a surprise.
The June 2015 Dottiebox Mini included the following items:
~Dream Willow Studios (Earrings): ($10) These are tiny little earrings, but I love them! I don’t really wear dangly earrings and we seem to get more “statement” ones like those in subscription boxes, so this is a nice change of pace.
~Clean Machine Body Co. Body Wash (Carriage) ($3.50): Carriage is a Coconut Lime Verbena and Patchouli scented wash. It’s a little on the strong side, but I like it. And it’s a nice size for travel.
~Poisn’d Lacquer Nail Polish (So Many Mermaids) ($10): So Many Mermaids is a shimmering blue-green polish, “reminiscent of the ocean waves”. It’s gorgeous and a great color for summer.
All totaled I came up with a value of $23.50 for the June 2015 Dottiebox Mini. I am quite pleased with this one and will use every single item in it! It was a great “mini” this month for me!
