Love With Food sends members a curated box filled unique gourmet food items. The “Tasting Box” is $12/month and offers with 8+ snacks and the “Deluxe” box is $19.95/month and includes 16-20 snacks. Love With Food also offers a Gluten-Free box for $29/month which includes 8-12 surprise gluten-free snacks each month. Each box brings new delights, with bites that vary based on seasonal themes. In addition, Love With Food donates a meal (some months they actually donate two meals) to a child in need with each box purchased, which you can read more about here. This review is on the June Tasting Box.
Love With Food ships via USPS. Boxes typically ship on the 10th of the month, but this one was delayed a few days. Love With Food sent out an e-mail notifying customers of the delay so it wasn’t a big deal.
The first time I received a box from Love With Food I was totally shocked by how small it was. But I soon realized (and as you can see in the picture), that they pack them full.
The June 2015 Love With Food theme was “Saturday In The Park” and included the following snacks:
~Northwest Trail Mix by Emily’s: I’m going to give these to B to take with him next week. He’s not going on a picnic or anything, but he’ll certainly need some snacks.
~Original Naan Crisps by Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads: These are amazing! They are good alone and would be even better with some sort of cheese spread on them.
~Crazy Hot PopChips by PopChips: I love PopChips, but crazy hot PopChips? I’ll be saving these for B. I’ll stick with the Cheddar and Sour Cream & Onion PopChips.
~Everything Bar by Sheffa: I must say, the picture on this bar doesn’t make it seem very appealing. What is that on here? Anyway, the bar is better than it looks, but I wouldn’t buy a full box of them or anything.
~Choo Choo Cherry Flavored Dried Cranberries by Funny Face: These are an L snack for sure. I will be putting these in the snack bin and I know they will be gone fast. He likes raisins and dried fruits so he’ll go wild for these.
~Salted Caramel Brownie Brittle: So good! I actually just bought a bag of this exact snack at the grocery store the other day. Those are good and so are these. I think the salted caramel is my favorite of all the Brownie Brittle Snacks.
~Classic Iced Tea Candy by Bali’s Best: I don’t like iced tea, but iced tea candy is good. It’s a different taste. It’s not as good as fruit flavored candy, but that’s just my opinion.
~KUTOA Peanut Butter & Jelly Bar: The information card says we will be receiving “Chocolate Maca Bar by Amrita Health”, but we ins tread received a KUTOA bar. I don’t kind the swap at all and think this might be a good one to sneak into L’s snack bin. After all, it’s PB&J!
I never do a cost breakdown on this box, but I always think it’s worth the cost. I thought it was worth it at $12/month and I am even more excited about it now that they have decreased the price to $9.99/box!
