The Sweet Box by Orange Glad, is a carefully curated box of sweet snacks which is delivered to your door every month. It includes 5 deluxe gourmet desserts and the Orange Glad Marketplace allows you to place orders for more of the goodies you love!
Orange Glad ships via USPS Priority Mail in a padded flat rate envelope and took just a few days to arrive.
The boys and I were super excited to open this one up! We were all quite hungry and we knew this would solve that problem.
Ahhhh, this box looked amazing and I could only see two out of the five items included!
The June 2015 Orange Glad box included the following items:
~Cookies & Cream Crispycake: OMG I love CrispyCakes. Like LOVE. I think I first tried them when they appeared in a PopSugar box a few years ago and have been hooked since. Sadly (although it might be a good thing) no place around here sells them so I have to order online. Or wait for them to appear in a subscription box like this one did. They never disappoint and the boys and I loved this one.
~Raspberry-Matcha Cookie Sandwich from The Baking Bean: There’s a lot happening with these cookies and I am not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. I like the raspberry cookie, but I could do without the matcha green tea ganache filling. The boys felt the same way!
~Salted Beer and Pretzel Caramel from Becky’s Blissful Bakery: Salted caramel and beer? These are also delicious and I had to put the package away before I ate them all.
~Luscious Lemon Bar by Fine Stonehenge Baking Co.: This was a little (okay a lot) soft and probably could have used a cold back to keep it in better shape. I popped it in the fridge and am hopefully it firms up nicely. I love lemon and I love shortbread so I suspect I will love this too.
~Italian Jelly Filled Linzer by Cookies Con Amore: The boys loved these, but I don’t really like jelly filled cookies. No real reason, I just like my cookies to have chocolate in them. LOL!
I didn’t do a cost breakdown on this Orange Glad box, but I loved it. The CrispyCake and the caramels made the box and everything else was just a bonus. I remember hearing rumblings of CripsyCake starting a subscription box and I really hope that happens!
