Paleo Life Box is a convenient box of pale snacks. Each month you’ll receive 9 or 10 full-size snacks that are both good for you and delicious. Typically 2 or 3 will be new and the rest will be tried and true favorites!

I don’t know what exactly this shredded material is, but it made feel like I was opening up a gift!

The Information Card

The April Paleo Life Box I reviewed didn’t have an information card but happily the June box did!  Here is what was included:

~Chocolate Blondie Macaroon by Rickaroons ($2): You know I am not normally a fan of coconut or macaroons, but I did enjoy these.  I think it was the almond butter and chocolate that got me.

~Superseed Spirit Bar by Thunderbird Energetica ($2): Gather bars are nutrient dense and loaded with superfood seeds and nuts.  I personally didn’t love this, but I have some friends who swear by them.

~Betsy’s Best Bar None Cinnamon Cardamom Round ($3): I just don’t dig this flavor. I feel like I have tried it in the past as well and wasn’t a fan then either?  Anyway I think it’s the cinnamon flavor. I cannot get past it.

~Grass-Fed Beef Biltong by Braaitime (~$5): Biltong is described as a delicious cured meat with its origins in Southern Africa. Braaitime sources their meats from ranches in North Carolina where the animals are always grass-fed.  This is similar in texture to say a beef jerky, but they stress that it is NOT a jerky!

~Grass-Fed Beef Sticks by Nick’s Sticks ($3.25): Nick’s Sticks are made from grass-fed beef raised in the Midwest.  I believe B has tried them before and he was a fan.  The kids liked these too!

~Coffee Snack Bar by Simple Squares (~$3): These bars are great for on the go and can also be used as a meal replacement.  They are Paleo, organic, Non GMO, gluten free, nutrition bars and really do taste like coffee, which to me is a good thing.

~Cherry Walnut Crunch Bar by Thunderbird Energetica (~$3): This bar was…different.  I think maybe I was expecting it to be more solid, but instead it was softer and more fruit like?  Hard to explain.  It didn’t taste badly, but it took a minute to get used to the texture.

~Beef Habanero Cherry Bar by Epic Bar ($2.50): You know, I have gotten a lot of different types of items in boxes over the years.  A lot.  But I can’t say that I ever have received a beef bar.  B will be home next weekend and then will be off again, but I think this will be a good snack to take with him on his next adventure.

~Chipotle Honey BBQ Mix by Bubba’s Fine Foods ($8.99): This is totally delicious!  L loved it too actually!  It’s a grain-free snack mix and is perfect for snacking.

~Bonus Snack – Caveman Cookie (~$2): All boxes this month also included a bonus snack – a Caveman Cookie!  I remember trying these for the first time and being really impressed by it.

Bonus Snack: Caveman Cookie

All totaled I came up with a value of $34.74 for the June 2015 Paleo Life Box.  I had to do a few estimates so I could be off a little bit either way.  I mentioned this in my last review, but I don’t follow a Paleo Diet so this probably not a box I would grab every month.  However,  if you do and are looking for a snack box, this one might be perfect for you. They fill it with high-quality Paleo snacks and send a great mixture of items!
