PowerUp Box is a monthly subscription service that includes geeky, gamer, and pop culture gear. The PowerUp Box team goes around the country searching for the best gear there is to assure an epic box every month, every time. The Premium Box ($39.90/month) includes 6-9 items, while the Deluxe Box ($26.90/month) includes 4-6 items and both boxes will include a t-shirt every month.
PowerUp Boxes are shipped between the 22nd and 28th of each month.
The first thing I noticed was the two shirts! It seemed like it was going to be a good month. The box doesn’t include an information card, but the June 2015 Premium PowerUp Box contained the following:
~Dorbz Guardians of the Galaxy Rocket Raccoon ($10.99): L had to tell me this guy’s name. He is currently living in WB’s dollhouse, but I suspect he will make his way up to L room where all the “cool” characters live.
~Mega Scalers Potted Groot ($4.99): I believe Groot is currently living in the dollhouse too! I knew who Groot was though and actually so did WB. I was impressed.
~Marvel Groot #1 Comic: A Groot comic! I am going to count this as one of L’s books for the library’s summer reading program. He’s excited about reading it and that’s always good.
~I Wanna Be A Billionaire T-Shirt ($18.99): This shirt cracked me up! It’s made with 100% cotton, but not that hard cotton you’ll see some shirts made out of. It’s soft and just perfect.
~Player T-Shirt: This Mr. Monopoly shift cracked me up too. I am totally see B wearing both of these and I love it. Again, this is a soft form fitting shirt and not a harder cotton one.
~Jelly Bean Bean Boozled: This box arrived last week while my cousin was in town and he and L had the best time with these. The best! Some of the flavors are “good” and some are like stinky socks, lawn clippings and barf. They were all over these!
~Dead World Geek Juice: Geek Juice is actually Vanilla Creme Soda. L loved it. Plus it came with a little booklet on the Zombies / Soda Flavors.
I couldn’t find everything for sale online so I was unable to do a cost breakdown on this box. But we all loved it! I thought the June 2015 PowerUp box was a great value and I was impressed.
