Serendipity by Little Lace Box May 2015 Review + Coupon Code
Serendipity by Little Lace Box May 2015

Little Lace Box is a subscription service that delivers hand-curated, nearly impossible-to-find designer products directly to your doorstep every other month. Boxes will be brimming with high-end, brand name beauty, lifestyle, and home product samples to treat yourself to and dazzle your friends during your next night out.  They now also offer Serendipity by Little Lace Box. It’s $9.99/bi-monthly, but is currently FREE if you have a LLB subscription. Serendipity by LLB will be sent out every other month (on the off months of the Little Lace Box) and includes five to seven sample size (sometimes full-size) items that don’t have any theme attached at all, just great little finds that LLB wanted to share.

The Package

Serendipity by LLB ships via USPS and took just a few days to arrive.  Until this arrived I actually didn’t realize it could be purchased separate.  I thought it was just a fun surprise from LLB.  I mean it is a fun surprise, but it’s also a new subscription.

First Look

I opened it up and thought that yes, it did look like a random collection of goodies! Not in a bad way though.

The Information Card

The information card indicated that while LLB is working out some kinks with Serendipity by LLB they will be sending it free to all current LLB subscribers.  Hopefully the kinks take a while to iron out because this is a great little bonus.  Anyway, here is what was included in the May 2015 Serendipity by Little Lace Box package:

~Universal Eyebrow Pencil by OFRA Cosmetics ($13): I am pretty well stocked on brow pencils right now, but the color of this is perfect. It’s totally a shade I would pick out on my own.

~Plum Lip Liner by OFRA Cosmetics ($13):  This is a gorgeous color as well and is a fun change from the bright pinks that have been appearing in so many subscription boxes lately.

~Bordeaux Lip Gloss by OFRA Cosmetics ($12.95): This is easily my favorite item in the package.  The color is perfect and the formula of the gloss is fantastic.

Swatched (no idea why my hand looks so dirty – it wasn’t)

~Bella Ink Card ($4): I believe they sent out a variety of cards, but this is my most favorite one (LOL).  Who wouldn’t love to get this in the mail? I can’t wait to send it to a friend.

~Brode Electrolyte Vitamin ($4): I have never heard of Brode before, but it’s a vitamin that helps you maintain hydration and replace lost electrolytes.  I don’t drink a ton so I will probably save this for traveling which is another recommended use for it.

Brode Electrolyte Vitamin

All totaled I came up with a value of $46.95 for the May 2015 Serendipity by Little Lace Box package. That’s a pretty darn good deal for $9.99 and an even better deal considering all subscribers received it free! Considering that this was so fabulous I can’t wait to see what they do for July.

August Little Lace Box

The June Little Lace Box is already sold out, but the Serendipity information card gave some details about the August box!  The theme is “Elizabeth & Mr. Darcy” and for the first time ever, LLB will be releasing little clues about the box on their Facebook page. I am kind of thinking this may include jewelry of some sort but I really have no idea.

Did you get a Serendipity by LLB this month?  What do you think?  If you are interested in ordering Serendipity or their traditional bi-monthly subscription (your first box will ship in August), head over to their site and check them out. You can use the coupon code “RAMBLIN10” to save $10 off your first box of a 6 (aka 3 boxes) or 12 (aka 6 boxes) month LLB subscription.
