The Bride Box, who sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box for, you guessed it, brides!  It contains fun full-sized gifts, samples, and more and is catered specifically to brides who are in the wedding planning process.

This month’s box was heavier than normal and I was hoping it was an extra fun one too!

The Information Card

The June 2015 The Bride Box contained the following items:

~Does This Ring Make Me Look Engaged? Mug ($18): This seems like kind of an expensive coffee mug, but it is cute.  And would make a very cute engagement gift.

~Tammy’s Great 4 Gifts Coaster (~$10): Ha.  I am pretty sure B would crack up if I ever busted this out to put my drink on.  But I do think it’s funny!

~The Yellow Note Napkins ($6.50): Let me just say that I had no idea how expensive gold foil napkins were!  I will be much more conscious of this at the next wedding I go to!  The Yellow Note can make custom napkin, address labels and other items like tote bags so everything you need for your wedding will be perfectly coordinated.

~LoveTag Designs Card (~$5): LoveTag designs included a cute Thank You card for your bridesmaids and also a coupon code which you can redeem for a free Save-The-Date design by LoveTag!

~Special Event Keys (~$15): This *might* be the neatest thing I’ve seen. You can give your guests hotel keys with your pictures on them for their hotel stay for your wedding.  And then I guess the hotel just activates them like normal keys when you get there. Same with the luggage tags.  Coupon codes were included for 5 keys and 5 luggage tags in here.  So cute!

~Tip Card: This month’s tip card was all about Your New Last Name and gave some details on how to go about changing it.  It is a process that’s for sure!

All totaled I came up with a value of $54.50 for the June 2015 The Bride Box.  I did a lot of estimates for this one so I am not totally sure how accurate it is?  Overall it wasn’t my favorite box, but it did have a fun mug and introduced me to those fun hotel keys!

I can see this being good for a certain type of person. But these boxes always assume the woman will change her name. I’m not going to do that — I’m 37 and I have a professional identity. And it’ll never be Mrs., always Dr. for me. Oh well. I’m pretty sure I’m the odd one out in this instance. (I’m also going to the courthouse instead of planning something big…)
