Everything was packaged neatly and I was impressed by the sizes of the pouches included.
The Flavor Fix includes individual information cards for each of the spices so they just include a generic information card. The May 2015 The Flavor Fix included the following items:
~Sriracha Salt (2oz): I have never had sriracha salt before! Sriracha sauce yes, but never the salt. The Flavor Fix suggest sprinkling this on just about everything. From popcorn to pizza to cucumbers and even to use on the rim of a bloody mary. It’s a 4 out of 5 on the spiciness scale so I will be needing to work up to this.
~Berbere Blend (1.6oz): The second spice blend is the berbere chili blend. It’s a spice blend from Ethiopia and Eritrea in Eastern Africa and is a 3 out of 5 on the Spice Level scale. It’s recommended in stews or as a marinade on meats. I am going to wait until B gets home for this one to see what he wants to do with it. I am sure he will have an idea.
Since these are custom blends I can’t do a cost breakdown on this box. But I think it’s a fun way to trend some new spices you may not have been exposed to otherwise!
