Wantable Makeup July 2015 Subscription Box Review
Wantable Makeup July 2015 Subscription Box

Wantable offers five different types of subscription boxes. This box is their makeup box, which includes 4 to 5 full-sized premium makeup products, hand-picked to perfectly match your preferences. They also offer intimates, fitness, style and accessories boxes, again customized to your preferences.  And unlike the majority of other subscription boxes, Wantable allows you to return the box if you aren’t totally 100% happy. They recently switched things up a little and allow you to return a portion of your box!  Wantable now lists “Your Price” on the information card along with the Retail Price so you can easily determine the amount of credit you will receive if you opt to return items.  If you end up keeping your entire box, a credit of $4 will be posted to your account – making your next box $36.

The Box

Wantable ships via DHL Global Mail and took just under a week to arrive.  Wantable (typically) ships at the same time each month based on when you originally subscribed.  So if you subscribed at the end of the month, your box will always ship at the end of the month.

Preferences

Like I mentioned before (and like I do every month), you can totally customize your Wantable box.  You fill out a questionnaire telling them what you Love, Like and Dislike.  You’ll get more of the things you Love, some of the things you Like and none of the things you Dislike.  It also asks about color preferences and that sort of thing.  I have had only Eyeliner as a Dislike for a while now and I have been pretty pleased with my boxes.

Second First Look

This first look was kind of blah.  Nothing popped out at me, but I was still willing to give it a chance.

The Information Card

My July 2015 Wantable Makeup Box contained the following items:

~Cattiva Cosmetic Mineral Foundation Compact (Medium) (Retail price $53, Your Price: $17.10): I think I am more impressed with the case itself than the actual product inside.  The 3-in-1 mineral foundation acts as a powder, concealer and foundation in one.  I would use this more as a concealer than anything else and thought it blended in smoothly and evenly.

~Ferro Cosmetics Eye Candy Eye Shadow (Sapphire Smoke) (Retail price $17, Your Price: $5.48): This is a cool color.  It’s not quite just blue and not quite just purple.  And not really just grey either.  It’s all of those mixed together into one fantastic shade.  This is a totally wearable color and could work for basically anyone.

~Au Naturale Creme Bronzer Stick (Retail price $32, Your Price: $10.32): I love this bronzer stick.  It adds a little shimmer and color and is super easy to apply.  I actually think this would make a fantastic eye shadow color.

~Beauty for Real Lip Gloss (Retail price $22, Your Price: $7.10): This color is a bit bright, but I love the light up feature on the lid and the mirror on the container so much.  I’ll mix this with a lighter gloss to make it work a litter better for me.

All totaled my July 2015 Wantable Makeup box had a value of $124.  I was really impressed with the value of this one and the “Your Price” prices were beyond reasonable. I love that they have added this feature and think it really makes Wantable stand out from other boxes.

Do you subscribe to Wantable?  If so, what’d you get in your box (makeup, accessories, intimates, fitness or the new style edit) this month? And if you don’t subscribe, what are you waiting for? There is no risk involved so why not?
