Dottiebox is a box curated every month for women. They feature high quality handmade items, small businesses, and indie brands. They offer their standard Dottiebox which is $26/month and a Dottiebox Mini subscription, which is $13/month. This review is for the full-sized Dottiebox and the Dottiebox Mini review will come later on in the month.
Dottiebox ships via USPS First Class Mail and takes just a few days to arrive to me. The full-size Dottiebox generally ships in the first half of the month with the Dottiebox Mini shipping in the later half of the month.
I always look forward to receiving Dottiebox each month. I never know exactly what the boxes will include and I am typically spoiler free for this one which is fun (sometimes).
The July 2015 Dottiebox included the following items:
~Matters of Delight Positive Pens ($5): I am a big fan of office supplies, cute stationary and fun pens so these are great for me. And the positive messages on these (“the future is BRIGHT” and “make it HAPPEN”) are awesome.
~The Tiny Collection Candle (Green Tea & Lemongrass) ($15): This candle comes in a ton of different scents so I am assuming variations were sent out. I like the Green Tea and Lemongrass scent I received, but I am not sure I totally love it. It’s a clean scent and nice for summer though and I will totally burn it.
~Melissa’s Jewelry Bracelet ($28): A very simple bracelet, but I like that. It just looks like plain silver beads and the “Love” charm kind of hides by the clasp.
~Jay Allen Cosmetics Nail Polish (Excel with Excel) ($3): I would call this more of a mermaid green, but whatever it’s called it’s pretty. It may be my next nail color actually. I don’t have any other colors like this which is hard to believe, but true.
All totaled I came up with a value of $51 for the July 2015 Dottiebox. I loved this box and thought it was a great value as well. I am now even more excited to see what’s in the Dottiebox Mini box this month!
