First Look

Fortune Cookie Soap has the BEST themes and packaging.  They are super creative and always do such a fabulous job with their boxes.

The Information Card

The Fall 2015 Fortune Cookie Soap theme was “Old Hollywood: What Lies Behind the Silver Screen” and included the following items:

~Dressed to Kill – Fortune Cookie Soap: Dressed to Kill is a described as “dribbles of mulled, red wine, swirled with dark, rich vanilla and cut apples, and a dusting of spice”.  It’s super fall’ish and I love it.  These fortune cookie soaps are awesome in a cute dish in a guest bath.

~Glitz & Glamour – OCD Hand Santizer: Glitz & Glamour is “wet moss, polished woods, and creamy vanilla“.  Don’t let the “wet moss” description scare you away.  It’s definitely much more of a woodsy vanilla scent.  Give it a few minutes to dry down and it’s perfection.

~Tommy Guns & Baseball Bats – Whipped Cream: Tommy Guns & Baseball Bats is “Grandma’s hot apple pie, dusted with freshly shaved cinnamon, nutmeg and warm brown sugar topped with rich, creamy, marshmallow fluff”. This is my favorite scent of the bunch and maybe my favorite ever Fortune Cookie Soap scent. It’s foodie and amazing. The whipped cream lotion is also amazing.  It’s fluffy and super moisturizing.

~Scandal – Bath Powder: Scandal is “creaking woods, wind blown leaves, and twisted rose thorns“. I am still not a big bath person so it will must likely end up being used by B.  It smells good and would be a nice scent for a bath on a chilly fall night with a glass of wine!

Scandal – Bath Powder

~Pearls & Girls – Perfume Oil: “Crushed and distilled vanilla creeping with wild jasmine and a splash of juicy pear”.  I haven’t seen a sprayer like this from FCS, but it’s cool.  It’s not a heavy scent and is so great for your purse!

~Hollywood Dreams – Shampoo Bar: “Brown sugar dusted graham crackers, fresh churned apple butter, sprinkled with nuts and a hint of maple”.  LUSH first turned me onto bar shampoos and they are awesome.  This one smells like a cookie.  Hopefully it will make my hair smell like one too!

Hollywood Dreams – Shampoo Bar

~American Royalty – Pomade: “Rose milk, thick honey and warming tobacco blossom wrapped with caramel and notes of mandarin“.  It’s not my favorite scent – it’s too deep for me, but you don’t need a ton so it’ll be okay.

American Royalty – Pomade

~Famous – Wax Tart: “Warm amber, wild orchid, fluttering white cotton, sundried herbs“.  I have to tell you, it wasn’t the scent I was expecting from this, but it’s nice.   And since I finally have a tart warmer I will be able to use this!
