First Look

Since this was my fifth (or so) month with Scentbird (you can check out my first one here), I received just the vial with my selected scent in it and not the perfume atomizer.  As I mentioned before, that comes in your first box and is reusable. Each month Scentbird selects a perfume of the month (the August one will be Burberry Brit and the July one was Coach Poppy), however, you can select whatever scent you wish.  My July selection was as follows:
~Carolina Herrera CH L’Eau: This is described as a “sparkling light fragrance with fresh, floral and feminine notes of lemon, apple and orange blossom, bergamot, freesia, violet, jasmine, lily of the valley, sandalwood and cinnamon flower”. On paper this sounds like my ideal scent, but I didn’t love it as much as I expected. It’s not a bad scent at all, but it’t not as amazing as I was thinking it would be. It’s maybe a little more floral than I would like?

I’ve subbed with scentbird for 6 months now and I really love it. I’ve swapped for as many more as possible as well! I love changing up fragrance and this is a fun way to try things that you can’t find readily or that don’t come in rollerballs. Unless you use the spray vial multiple times every day it’s going to last a very long time. I’m taking a break from this sub because I need to cut down but I highly recommend it! Their customer service is really nice and prompt as well.
