Bramble Box August 2015

Bramble Box provides creative play kits containing dramatic play materials and activities. Educational and fun, Bramble Boxes promote free play. Every box contains all the materials you need and a little inspiration – all you have to add is imagination. Boxes are designed for children age 3 – 8, but could be enjoyed by a variety of ages of children over age 3. Since the activities are open ended, kids can use them in a way that best suits their play level.

The Box

Bramble Box ships via USPS Priority Mail and took just a few days to arrive. If you sign up before midnight on the 4th of the month, then they will ship your first crate from Pennsylvania by the 15th of that month.

Everything looked great!  Bramble Box is creative with their themes and always incorporates a way to use the outer box in that month’s kit.

The Information Card

The August 2015 Bramble Box Props theme was “Circus” and included the following:

~The Materials: The box included a circus picture with stickers, “tickets”, a banner to decorate your box with, wooden circus performers, a clown nose (WB didn’t want to pose with it on) and scarves to practice juggling with. WB wasn’t as interested in decorating / crafting as he was with playing with everything.  He loved moving the little wood guys around, but wasn’t interested in practicing juggling with the scarves.  Instead he wore them as capes.  But that’s okay because You are supposed to play with the items in Bramble Box however you see fit.

The Supplies

~A Day At the Circus Book: I am not sure that WB has ever been to the circus?  I actually don’t believe he has.  I think we took L years ago before WB was born?  I don’t have a huge desire to go back, so hopefully this adorable book is enough for him!
