First Look

The first look both smelled and looked good. BuddhiBox selects a lot of new to me items for their boxes and I enjoy seeing what they come up with each month.

The Information Card

The August 2015 BuddhiBox included the following items:

~Jesse & Co. – Lotus Necklace ($25):This necklace is delicate and cute.  The lotus flower is a symbol of spiritual awakening and enlightenment.  It grows in the mud yet blossoms above the muddy waters.  I didn’t realize that and it makes me love it even more.

~Marley Coffee (8oz) ($10): B grabbed this coffee right away!  It smells fabulous and is sustainably grown and ethically farmed using artisan roasted coffee beans from around the world.  This will be very much appreciated around here.

~Wellsmith Shea Butter Tin (Blackberry / Sage Scent) (1oz / $6): I could NOT get this opened up.  I kid you not, it was a battle.  I think it was overfilled (or expanded in shipping) and the lid kind of fused on there.  I eventually got it, but it was a lot of work.  Luckily it smells amazing and is very moisturizing, so it was worth it!

~My Mat My Mantra – Get Your Buddhi on the Mat Magnet ($8): This seems expensive for a mat magnet, but I have never seen a mat magnet before this so maybe not?  It’s definitely different and a fun way to change up your yoga mat.

~Chopra Center – Sandalwood Incense ($8) & Meditation Downloads ($7): B uses incense in the basement a lot and while it’s sometimes too strong for me, I like the smell from a distance. Buddhibox suggest using a partial stick if you think the scent is too potent which I’ll try.  The box also included a meditation download so you can experience the benefits of meditation for yourself.

All totaled I came up with a value of $64 for the August 2015 BuddhiBox.  I felt like this box was well rounded and it seemed a little different than their other boxes have been, but I didn’t mind at all.  I loved seeing coffee in a yoga box and not more tea.

Hey when you order a “month” on these, does it automatically keep sending and billing every month? I want to get just ONE month for my sister as a present but don’t want to actually subscribe. With these subscription clubs, is it a hassle to cancel after just a month?

I believe you will be auto renewed, but you shouldn’t have any problem canceling. Their customer service is good!

On their Website, if you go to “Store” and “All Items”, you can but a Gift Subscription and choose 1 month. -or- you can buy the previous month box. Right now they have the July “All things Summer” Box still for sale.

        Thank you!
