First Look

I thought the packaging on this one was so cute!

The Information Card

The August 2015 My Texas Market included the following items:

~Eco-Topia Shade Tree Lotion Bar ($8): I have already used this about a dozen times.  It is awesome on your elbows and heels.  I found that it applied smoothly and didn’t melt too quickly or come off in clumps.  It does exactly what it’s supposed to do and it does it well.

~Stateline Designs “All Things Texas” Koozie ($5): For some reason I didn’t snap an individual picture of this? I am going to send it off to a friend who used to live in Texas that I know will enjoy it!

~Dallas Caramel Co. Caramels ($7): We received these caramels in three flavors – original, bacon and chipotle.  The original was my favorite, but they were all good. The chipotle tasted smokey and while it wasn’t the one I liked the best it was the most interesting out of the three.

~Brass Heart Earrings by Annarees ($10): These earrings had a piece of take holding them down on the card and it seems to have left a spot on them?  I think it will eventually fade and it’s likely not as noticeable when they are on, but I suspect they won’t be taping things down again like that.

~Salinas Salsa ($6.95): Eeek!  This is way too hot for me!  I sometimes think mild salsa is too much!  I am going to give this to my mom and see if she can handle it.

Salinas Salsa

~Bravado Hot Sauce (Ghost Pepper & Blueberry) ($5.99): Oh man, I don’t think I will be able to handle this one either.  I am going to look into some recipes for it and see if there’s something this is used in that I will like.  If not though B will use it on a ribs or something for work. They LOVE hot sauce and will like this fun flavor.

All totaled I came up with a value of $42.94 for the August 2015 My Texas Market. I thought this box was very Texas and did a great job of making their selections.
