Treatsie is a couture candy of the month club that delivers individually sourced confections from all over the world to your mailbox.
Treatsie ships via USPS during the second half of the month. They have a shipping calendar on their website which you can check to find exact shipment dates for future months. In the warmer months Treatsie uses cool packs in their shipments (when necessary) to make sure everything arrives in perfect condition.
Ohh, I loved this first looked! From what I could tell the treats looked amazing and like ones I would pick out for myself.
The August 2015 Treatsie included the following:
~Grey Ghost Bakery Chocolate Chip & Peanut Butter Cookies ($5): Grey Ghost cookies are amazing. I don’t think I have ever tried the peanut butter ones before today, but they are easily my new favorites. I was amazed that they were still soft! The chocolate chip ones were good as well.
~Walker Creek Confections Sea Salt Caramels ($8): Walker Creek caramels are handmade in small batches and are, according to the information card, are the perfect mixture of sweet and salty. I actually would have enjoyed a little more salt in them, but I really like salt ;).
~Butterfields Candies – Peach Buds, Lemon Buds & Honeybell Buds ($8.25): So far I have only tried the honeybell flavored ones, but I am in love. They are the perfect hard candy. Not to sweet and the flavor remains consistent throughout. I also like that they aren’t giant and don’t take forever to finish up. The only thing I would change on these is the packaging. I wish the bag was resealable.
All totaled I came up with a value of $21.25 for the August 2015 Treatsie. I think this was my favorite Treatsie that I have received so far. I suspect not everyone will love this one, but I certainly did. All the treats were just right for me!
