Wantable Makeup September 2015 Subscription Box Review
Wantable Makeup September 2015 Subscription Box

Wantable offers five different types of subscription boxes. This box is their makeup box, which includes 4 to 5 full-sized premium makeup products, hand-picked to perfectly match your preferences. They also offer intimates, fitness, style and accessories boxes, again customized to your preferences.  And unlike the majority of other subscription boxes, Wantable allows you to return the box if you aren’t totally 100% happy. They recently switched things up a little and now allow you to return a just portion of your box if you want!  Wantable now lists “Your Price” on the information card along with the Retail Price so you can easily determine the amount of credit you will receive if you opt to return items.  If you end up keeping your entire box, a credit of $4 will be posted to your account – making your next box $36.

The Box

Wantable ships via DHL Global Mail and took just under a week to arrive.  Wantable (typically) ships at the same time each month based on when you originally subscribed.  So if you subscribed at the end of the month, your box will always ship at the end of the month.

First Look
Second First Look

Pretty good first look!  It seemed to be a good mixture of items in this month’s collection.

Preferences

Like I mentioned before (and like I do every month), you can totally customize your Wantable box.  You fill out a questionnaire telling them what you Love, Like and Dislike.  You’ll get more of the things you Love, some of the things you Like and none of the things you Dislike.  It also asks about color preferences and that sort of thing.  Eyeliner is my only dislike and that seems to be working out well. I do want to change Skincare from a Like to a Love next month though.

The Information Card

My September 2015 Wantable Makeup Box contained the following items:

~Seta Kabuki Brush (Retail: $18 / Your Price: $7.64): This fun brush works fro applying bronzers, blushers, powder and even shimmers.  It’s soft and there weren’t any problems with loose bristles (I hate that).

Seta Kabuki Brush

~Bodyography Pressed Complexion Powder (Amber) (Retail Price: $27.20 / Your Price $11.55): This color is a tad dark for me, but after some self-tanner it will work nicely.  I love the formula (it’s very smooth) and compact is sleek and stylish as well.

Bodyography Pressed Complexion Powder

~Au Naturale Cream Blusher (Rose) (Retail $32, Your Price: $13.59): I have received this in a different shade in the past, but I don’t mind getting an additional one.  The rose is gorgeous.  It’s easy to apply and you can just blend it in with your fingers if you want.

Au Naturale Cream Blusher (Rose)

~Model Co. Party Proof Cream Lipstick (After) (Retail: $17, Your Price: $7.22): One of the risks of putting “Lip Color” as a Love is that I would get lipstick.  It’s worth it though because I get lip gloss just as often.  Anyway, my SIL loves lipstick so I will pass this on to her.  It’s more orange than I expected, but the formula seemed nice.

All totaled my September 2015 Wantable had a value of $94.20.  I was impressed with this box!  It had a great mixture of items and the value was fantastic!

Do you subscribe to Wantable?  If so, what’d you get in your box (makeup, accessories, intimates, fitness or the new style edit) this month? And if you don’t subscribe, what are you waiting for? There is no risk involved so why not?
