Yarn Crush is a premium monthly yarn subscription box. Each month you’ll receive at least one or two full-sized skeins of yummy yarn, along with a beautiful knitting pattern we design specifically to use that yarn. The pattern comes printed in full-color on durable glossy cardstock at a perfect size to stash in your knitting bag.
Yarn Crush boxes ship via USPS on or around the 15th day of each month.
I don’t knit, but I could appreciate how gorgeous this was right away!
The August 2015 Yarn Crush box included the following items:
~Merino Silk Lace Yarn from Sweet Georgia Yarns ($39): This is made from 50% fine merino wool and 50% cultivated silk. It’s hand dyed and is both gorgeous in person and in pictures.
~The Knitting Pattern ($5.99): The pattern this month is for Oroya which is an airy lace shawl with tiny beads around the edges to catch the light. As I mentioned I don’t knit (although just like with sewing I wouldn’t mind learning) so I am not sure of the difficulty level of this pattern.
~Seed Beads & Gauge Wire ($1.99): Each box also includes seed needs to match your yarn color and gauge wire to help you add the beads to your stitches.
~Row Counter Ring ($5.99): The box also included a row ring counter that you can wear around your finger and use to count your rows – even in dim lighting.
All totaled the August 2015 Yarn Crush box had a value of $52.97. If you are a knitter and are always looking for new patterns and yarns this might be a box for you to check out!
