I knew that this was a special 4-piece box in celebration of the second anniversary of Your Bijoux Box and was excited to dig in and check it all out.

The Information Card

The August 2015 Your Bijoux Box included the following items:

~Roma Cuff Ring: This is Your Bijoux Box‘s first ever Fair Trade piece.  It features light coral Czech crystals on an adjustment 18K gold overlay band.  It’s unlike anything I have received from YBB and it’s fabulous.

~Helena Laurel Collar: It also looks multi-colored in the picture, but the crystals are actually gold and grey.  It’s kind of an unexpected combination, but I really like it.  It’s eye-catching for sure.

~Helena Studs: How gorgeous are these.  I love the coral’ish color and would wear these everyday!  I laughed when I saw the backing on these.  Are you really supposed to take the plastic off the backing?  Really?  Because I don’t think you are.  I can’t wait to hear what you all think!

~Coral Dots Scarf: I think this is the second time Your Bijoux Box sent out a scarf in their boxes.  Both scarves I have received from them have been beautiful.  This is something I would totally buy on my own.

I love the August Your Bijoux Box!  It felt different than the other boxes they have sent out and it was a fun change of pace.

You’re not supposed to remove that plastic, it helps the studs to lay better against your ear 🙂
I remember those from my childhood back in the 80’s and early 90’s. Before I realized I was allergic to most metals.
Cute box though! I love the ring!

Why would you take the plastic backing off? I’ve been using those back for years. They help the earrings stay more upright on your ear lobes. They’ve been around a long time.

Exactly. It never even crossed my mind until I saw that Twitter post and then I thought maybe I was doing it wrong?

Excited to get mine- just got the shipping notification today. I just wish they had an option for people without pierced ears!

Lauren, I don’t have pierced ears; if you email them and ask for no earrings, they will substitute something else. I’ve been a subscriber from almost the beginning, and have always been happy with what they send. I don’t know if all the no-earring people get the same things, but in this August box I got a dainty little tab-shaped gold pave bracelet.
