Dottiebox September 2015 Subscription Box Review
Dottiebox September 2015 Subscription Box

Dottiebox is a box curated every month for women. They feature high quality handmade items, small businesses, and indie brands. They offer their standard Dottiebox which is $26/month and a Dottiebox Mini subscription, which is $13/month. This review is for the full-sized Dottiebox and the Dottiebox Mini review will come later on in the month.

The Box

Dottiebox ships via USPS First Class Mail and takes just a few days to arrive to me.  The full-size Dottiebox generally ships in the first half of the month with the Dottiebox Mini shipping in the later half of the month.

First Look

I received a ton of boxes today, but Dottiebox was one of the first ones I opened.

The Information Card

The September 2015 Dottiebox included the following items:

~Kern + Flourish ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ Print (5×7) ($15): Love this print!  Dottiebox doesn’t necessarily include a ton of prints so this was a nice surprise.  And the print itself is fantastic.  I will be framing it.

~Broken Record Boutique Key Necklace ($17.50): I am debating if I want to keep this as a necklace or turn the ket charm into a bookmark or a keyring decoration.  I think a key keychain would be more more than a key necklace.

~Plum Deluxe Loose Leaf Tea (1oz) ($7): Ahh, tea.  Perfect for fall, well if you like tea anyway.  You can drink this hot or iced and I should also mention that Plum Deluxe has their own tea subscription box.

~Starlooks Waterproof Eyeliner (Black) ($19): I don’t know why, but I found it so odd that Starlooks was in here.  Maybe I just consider them a bigger company than the normal ones that Dottiebox includes.  Now, I have no idea if they actually are or not, that’s just what I thought. I don’t wear eyeliner, but I did find this pen to be really cool. It pretty much glides on and dries quickly so you don’t need to worry about it getting smudged or any of that.  I was impressed.

~The Sudsy Soapery Guest Bar Soap ($3): This soap smells good and cools pretty cool too.  It’s meant for your guest bathroom, but I never want to use bar soaps in someone’s guest bathroom (I feel like I am wrecking their fancy stuff) so we’ll just use this in our bathroom.

~Fancy Paperie Stationery (Sample): Dottiebox didn’t include a value with this item and just called it a sample.  It’s a pretty design and I’ll use it to write B a note or something.

All totaled I came up with a value of $61.50 for September 2015 Dottiebox.  The value was amazing, but it wasn’t my favorite Dottiebox. I liked everything in it, but I have loved some of the other Dottiebox boxes more!

Did you get a Dottiebox this month?  What’d you think? And did you get any variations?  If you are hoping to get this box, you are in luck because it’s still available, as is the September Dottiebox Mini!!!  If you are interested in ordering or just want to learn more, click here.
