First Look

This book looked great! It was packed full and looked like a nice mixture of items.

The September 2015 Orange Glad box included the following items:

~Craft Beer & Pretzel Caramels by Shotwell Candy: OMG these are SO good! They are salty and just delicious.  I have received Shotwell Candy in quite a few subscription boxes, but it never gets old to get it.  Never.  It’s delicious.

~Georgia Peach Cookies by Byrd’s Famous Cookies: We received the Key Lime variety of these last month, but I think I am team peach. These were unexpectedly good.  They have just the right amount of tangy peach and just the right amount of shortbread (?). So good.

~Original Toffee Cookie Snack Pack by Hard Crack: The Hard Crack suggests these with ice-cream or maybe even cheese on top which I might need to try. They were good enough alone (I could really taste the caramel in them), but as odd as it sounds, I think they would be amazing with cheese.

~Citrus Mix Fruit Rock Candy by Raley’s Confectionary: I don’t think we received nearly enough hard candy in “treat” subscription boxes, so yeah, I love these.  They are hand-crafted come in lemon, lime, orange and grapefruit.  I think orange is my favorite!

~Raspberry White Chocolate Cookie by Selma’s Cookies: I suspect you can tell how amazing this cookie is just by looking at it.  I mean really, look.at.this.  It’s dense and filled with white chocolate and raspberry chips along with a raspberry preserve. If Orange Glad included a cookie from Selma’s in every single one of their packages, I would not be sad at all.

I didn’t do a cost breakdown on Orange Glad (I never do), but really loved this month.  I don’t look at Orange Glad as a subscription that is going to save me any money, but instead it’s a subscription that introduces me to amazing new items and lets me sample delicious treats!
