Pennie Post September 2015 Subscription Review
Pennie Post September 2015 Subscription

Pennie Post, who kindly sent me this package to review, is a monthly stationary subscription service. Each month you will receive at least 3 stationary items.  More commonly used greeting cards such as thank you notes and birthday cards will be included more often than other greetings. Seasonal cards such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and holiday may also be included during appropriate months.

The Box

Pennie Post ships via USPS and usually arrives the first week of the month.

First Look

As usual all of the cards were enclosed in a plastic pouch to keep them in perfect condition. In all the time I have received Pennie Post I don’t believe I have ever received a damaged item.

The Information Card

The September 2015 Pennie Post theme was “Hip, Hippo, Hooray” and included the following items:

~Hippo Birthday Card: Adorable! This is probably aimed at children, but I have some adult friends who would love it. Pennie Post doesn’t do it often, but every once in a while they will do a printed envelope like this and I love it when they do.

~Watercolor Hooray Card: How gorgeous is this watercolor card?  Seriously it’s like a painting.  I can’t imagine anyone who wouldn’t love opening this one up.

~Letterpress Pineapple Mahalo Card: Yep, I still love pineapples. And this card is perfection.  I actually may end up framing it and not even send it out.

~Lines and Dots Letter Writing Paper:I don’t think Pennie Post has ever done this before, but this month they sent out a piece of letter writing paper and an envelope.  I thought it was a great addition because sometimes you do need more space to write than a card provides.

I loved this month’s Pennie Post!  The designs were gorgeous and very unique.  Since the cards are Pennie Post exclusives I cannot do a cost breakdown, but they work out to less than $3/card which I think is so worth it!
