This box looked great!  It had a crazy amount of snacks packed inside and i didn’t recognize many of them at all.

The Information Card

The August 2015 Treats box contained the following items;

~Fruit Gummy Assortment by Kasugai: I don’t know where my picture of the first two items in this box disappeared to, but they are no where to be found. And the snacks are long gone.  These gummies were amazing though.  They were very fruity and flavorful.

~Butter Soy Sauce Crisps by Jagabee:  Hmm.  These are basically soy sauce flavored potato sticks.  I don’t know if I think they are amazing or awful. I do know they are different.

~Giant Caplico Strawberry by Glico: WB loved this! I think he expected it to be more ice cream like because of the shape, but it’s more like a cone shaped cookie.  He was happy with it though!

~Baked Shrimp Chips by Calbee: Nope.  I just cannot with shrimp chips.  I do not want to snack on crunchy fish snacks.  LOL.

~Cola Puccho by Uha: I don’t even know where to start with these. There is a lot going on.  It’s a chewy cola flavored taffy / gummy candy.  With some extra bursts of flavor in between.  Very unique.

~Himemaru by Amanoya: Just calling these rice crackers doesn’t do them justice.  They are actually quite flavorful.  A little salty, but I liked them.

~Pocky Tsubu Ysubu Ichigo by Glico: I wonder how many different varieties of Pocky sticks there are?  I suspect the possibilities are endless with these. The sticks are like the sticks that come in the nutella snack packs, but thinner.  And obviously these are strawberry flavored.

~Watapachi Melon Soda by Meiji: I have yet to try these, but I think they are more of L’s kind of thing than mine.

~Milk Caramel by Morinaga: OMG.  These were by far our favorite item in the box.  WB and I couldn’t get enough of them.  they are exactly what the name says – milk caramels.  They are individually wrapped and about 1/3 the size of the regular wrapped caramels you can buy here at the grocery store.

~Kaki-no-tane by Uegaki: These are the kind of thing you could eat.  And eat and still “need” more to feel satisfied.

I didn’t do a price breakdown on Treats, but I received 10 snacks which works out to about $2.50/snack. I thought that was beyond reasonable and we had a good time with this box.
